Fresh on Young Food Hall

Huge selection of produce, all at least $1-2 cheaper per kg than Woolies or Coles. All the veggies were fresh and store was very clean. Friendly staff. Will be shopping here from now on!

Highly recommend for a great range of fresh produce, meats, deli and other food. Cheaper than Woolies next door and better quality and range.

What a welcome addition to Coburg - fantastic produce at great prices. And better still, it sits alongside a greedy behemoth (Woolworths) . It also has way more going for it than 'Coburg Market' (which is nothing like a real market) I wish the operators of Young Food Hall every success 😁

Well priced, excellent range of quality products . I was pleasantly surprised as I assumed it would be more expensive than Woolies next door ..but it was not.

We’re really glad this place has opened. Just what was needed in the area. I always assume places like this (with higher quality fresh produce) will be more expensive, but no - they’re cheaper too!

Great green grocery in prime position next to supermarket. Good range of fruit and veg at competitive prices.
Got cherries for Christmas and they were amazing, same with stone fruit.
2 bulbs of garlic I bought were already bad in the middle though (mushy and brown)
Otherwise a great store with friendly service

Good addition to Coburg. Music is way too loud

Ok quality generally and not too expensive, but the distorted Christian radio station blaring over the speakers is a deal breaker. I mean, no one goes to green grocers for the music, but having cooker Jesus freaks' opinions shoved down your ear holes while you buy your broccoli is a bit much.

I never leave a bad review as I feel it is unfair sometimes but wow!

My husband works at Woolworths and was on break so he called me and walked it to have a browse

Just as he was about to grab some stuff for dinner an older gentleman walked over and said a “you having a good look” in a sarcastic tone and my husband replied “yeh just having a browse thank you” in his usual friendly manner then the gentleman replied “sure you are your wearing a Woolies shirt and where’s your basket then if your actually shopping and why are you on your phone” my husband said “”I’m on the phone to my wife no need to be rude I was just about to grab some stuff but it’s ok I’ll leave”

What a rude and nasty person

That’s not how you run a business mate

Never going there again even though when my husband mentioned it I said it would be nice to grab our weekly veggies and fruit from there if it’s good quality and support a family business
