This is by far the best dimmeys, very friendly staff, good products all for reasonable prices and in a good location too. Couldn't ask for a better shop.

Good old Dimmies, not much has changed in 20 years, still a mess inside, fun to scout around the shop to look for bargains, staff are polite and willing to help. It's Christmas all year round with decorations and christmas items available.

I love shopping at Dimmeys. Every month there are always bargains for home and all the family. Affordable and quite often great special items.

They sell underwear, women's clothes and pyjamas, work wear, men's clothes, fabrics, bed linen, shoes, cosmetics, some pantry items, some hosiery, rugs(not available at all stores) and special buys weekly where they bring in new items everyweek( Christmas items, hampers, back to school items, babies and children bonds special...

The manager at the coburg store is an absolute gentlemen, courteous, helpful and supportive. He has been there for years and the store never would run without him.

How terribly sad that Dimmeys is closing down. It's a Melbourne institution introduced to me, a newcomer back in the 90s, by a friend in Kooyong whose suits came from Savile Row. Quel tragedy!
