Stride Shoes

I was attended to by Angie today. What a delight. A beautiful lady who had miles of patience and knowledge. I tried on heaps of shoes and that didn’t stop her making more suggestions. Such incredible service I have seen nowhere else. Of course I bought a pair of shoes. Thrilled. Thank you Angie 😃

I went in on a busy Saturday morning.
I told Angie of my recent foot pains and she could relate.
She showed me a pair of Taos sandals,I tried them and immediately thought these will be perfect.
I was right.
Whenever I've been out in uncomfortable shoes and put these on it is like a fix for my feet.
Thanks Angie for your smile, your caring attitude and for coping so well with all your customers.

Great staff, good selection of quality shoes at competitive prices. The downside is the shop itself in desperate need of modernising and looks very tired. Compared to other stores, like Paul Carroll, this store is dated.

Made to feel as if we weren't welcome. Went in 20 mins before closing time (knowing the exact shoe I wanted to try on quickly) but was disapprovingly told more than once to next time visit 30 min before closing. Poor service considering they were meant to be still open for business until 5.30pm. This isn't the first time this has happened at the same store.

Always had good experiences here however, recently when I went to the store on a Saturday the shop was closed with a sign saying closed for 20 mins. I waited there 35 minutes before calling the store then the staff member came from back of shop and opened door. Even tho that was frustrating after waiting a long time I wasn't too annoyed until I had to deal with her attitude. She was rude and really off. One of my worst experiences I've had in a retail store.
