The Hot & Cold Outlet Team at Engadine were amazing in helping us with the refurb/reno of our bathrooms and powder room. We were also on a tight time schedule to refurb our house for sale. Bill Adam's help with products and design were invaluable in making sure we had a quality products without breaking our refurb budget. Owner Curt Stainer was amazing with the payments schedule. He also stored our order at the store until we were ready for installation. Then their plumber Trevor Geldenhuis delivered our order and was equally professional with the demo of old products and the new products installation. Everything was on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier and more impressed with their support and follow through at the highest level in every part of the project.

We purchased all of the fittings (vanity, shaving cabinet, bath, shower heads, taps and shower screen) to renovate two bathrooms.

Prices were competitive and all of the items arrived on time.

Along the way a number of issues arose with the reno and the guys offered alternative solutions and swapped out items without any hassles.
It was amazing some of the ideas they came up with.

Because they are local it was easy to drop in and discuss issues and be able to checkout the options in person.

So I highly recommend them for anyone building or renovating bathrooms.

How did I not find this the place earlier?!

The week before Christmas I walked in to Hot & Cold at Engadine and told the showroom manager Bill, that I needed a Christmas miracle. I had procrastinated buying all the pc items for our full house renovation for months and now I was in trouble. I had a limited budget and an even more limited time frame as our builders was starting our job the first week of January. I really was asking for a miracle as many suppliers shut up shop until mid-January.

At the insistence of our tile supplier I had come to Hot & Cold and was pleasantly surprised at their comprehensive showroom and list of suppliers espeically considering I call myself a local and had never set foot inside before.

Within minutes I realised that I'd found the right place as Bill's knowledge and experience became evident. Not only did he help me to choose everything for 2.5 bathrooms and a laundry but he did so within my budget and liasied with his suppliers and my builder to ensure that every item was on site before the trades needed them. I was also grateful that Bill doubles as a bathroom designer with many years of experience so he was able to guide my choices as to avoid any layout and style faux pas as we updated our 40 year old bathrooms.

The outstanding customer service continued with Curt the store's owner, as he happily refunded us a couple of items that we had to return with last minute changes that we made to our laundry.

Very happy with our whole experience with Hot & Cold Outlet of Engadine and will do our best to make sure we spread the word around about this great family owned and run business.

We are doing a renovation on a house and have bought all the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms items from Hot and Cold Outlet. Everything has been priced very competitively and of great quality. Curt and his team are extremely knowledgeable and are always happy to spend as much time as it takes to answer any questions and give advice.

I wish I had found Hot & Cold Outlet before looking elsewhere for our bathroom renovation products. Our builder recommended them so I made an appointment and had all items bought in one afternoon. Bill went through each item carefully and helped me select items based on his incredible wealth of knowledge. The prices were excellent and no doubt were cheaper than if I had bought the items from various shops. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Beautiful products but most importantly, we had the best service at Hot&Cold Outlet! After a first visit, I knew all the measurements and photos I should take in our toilets prior to coming back the same afternoon. At that point, we had great advice from the whole team, really looking for the best outcome for us. They even replicated our toilets by placing a toilet seat next to the vanity we had chosen to ensure there would be enough leg room, space to open it and that the waste water plumbing would work. Throughout the experience, we didn't feel we were pushed for a sale, they were just aiming for the best solution. The whole team is so knowledgeable and helpful!!! This is the kind of service you can never get at big hardware stores. We will definitely go back for other projects in the future!

I have given a 5 Star Review because Curt, Shaun and Bill have gone above and beyond to help me out with my supplies for my house renovation a little while ago and also the supplies for my new bathroom. There attention to detail and their expertise is outstanding and I felt comfortable asking them lots of questions and getting advice on design and products. There was no issue in swapping things around due to a change of design and they were all more than happy to help out. Great work from a great business with great customer service and a positive attitude.

Curt & Bill were exceptional to deal with, they know their stuff and help the novice renovator go from concept to practical. Their products are good quality and reasonably priced, they get their orders right and delivered on time. Absolutely recommend Hot & Cold!

I recently sourced tapwear, vanity and a shower screen here. Very helpful staff with a great range, competitive prices and very knowledgeable. I walked in once holding a hose for a washing machine and before I could even say a word Curt told me what it was I was looking for (I needed an adapter for a condenser dryer hose and washing machine hose to both attach to). Very impressed with his mind reading skills too!

I used to get my plumbing needs from the big franchise stores. They just can't compete with Hot and Cold Outlet for experienced staff, expertise and most important of all - honesty.

Smaller range of products on display but is ok for this boutique shop. Bill was not very helpful, despite claiming the 1st spot for Shire plumber completing 1000 bathrooms he said it is "too hard" to do cabinets for our laundry. Credit to my wife, she got it done easily with small help at Beaumont tiles without any prior experience.

I was surprised by how rudely we were spoken to by one staff that was ‘assisting’ us- he found it incredibly annoying that we wanted to know prices on items we were considering buying. He complained more than once that he didn’t have the prices of his 5000 items in his head, and that he would have to look them up. After the 2nd price he quoted, things got too hard for him- he said he could not keep doing this! That is, he could not keep looking up the price of items we were considering buying!?
How the hell are we supposed to consider our options when we are not able to access the price??? Very confusing and annoying encounter. - will definitely never go back.

Rude. Poor customer service. Over priced. Consistantly over 3/3 visits.
