Nicholson General Store & Post Office

I always make a stop at this place for a lamb pai or coffee, it is the best pai I have tried in Gipsland, it has many more but I like the lamb pai. his coffee is nice. It has a dog-friendly area and they also have many very interesting local products. fully recommended.

Great place to stop in for brunch! Quality of the food is excellent, service is friendly and efficient and the prices are very reasonable. Field Mushroom Bruschetta, Eggs Benny and Vegetarian Omelette accompanied freshly brewed coffees! Really enjoyed our visit and even picked up some very nice cottage produce. Thanks Nicho's!

This place is great. Good options for food and drink, the pies are up there for sure! the staff are all very friendly and the place is cosy. Can't go past this place, highly recommend

Lamb pie had chunky lamb pieces and very tasty ($8.50), cheesecake & cappuccino excellent. Friend said it was a lucky find in small town Nicholson & she loves dropping in. Indeed it is👍🏼

Great stop for a meal. Have been here a few times now. Food always great. Prices very good. Staff always polite. Totally recommend stopping for any meals.

Nice place to eat. Meals were good. Empty plates were left on our table for an hour even though we ordered more drinks that were delivered to our table.

Even though it took a bit longer for the meal to arrive I couldn't say that it was worth it! The food was delicious and fresh! It was very busy on a Sunday around noon time. Lovely neighborhood and the place offers inside and outside seats.

If you think you have eaten a great pie and you have not eaten one here you are in for a surprise!! Greatest pies in all of Victoria!!

Stayed at the caravan park for 6 weeks and visited the Nicho store frequently. Most amazing pies, chilli being a favourite, and hands down the best vanilla slice 😋.

The Nachos and Pulled Pork was really good. The salsa was balanced just right with fresh veggies and pickled jalapenos. Yummy!!!
