Fresh On Young

Fantastic spot! Fresh produce and great variety of fruits and vegetables. Good meat section and a deli section as well. They also make pizzas and serve fresh coffee if you want. Friendly staff too. Wonderful to have something like this instead of a big supermarket in a shopping centre. A bit of a throwback to the old days with those big fruit and veg shops on the high streets. Well worth a visit.

Great fresh produce, juicy ripe fruit, as it should be, and used to be. Not like the hard, green ‘fruit’ at the supermarkets. Good service and value. Also great deli and dry goods section.

Fresh local and imported goods. A much better alternative to Woolworths. Fruit and veg that actually looks and tastes the way it's supposed to, not defrosted and flavourless. Meats are good too. Great range of European dry and canned goods also.

I've been regularly visiting the Coburg store since it opened. Great fruit and veg specials, very fresh produce. My family have been gorging themselves on berries! A great selection of continental goods. Staff are friendly and helpful. The deli is well attended and the prices overall are very reasonable. Well worth going in for a look, especially if you want to want a quality alternative to Coles and Woolworths with fruit and veg.

Set in a good location, close to shops, amenities and plenty of parking. Fresh on young offers a variety of fresh produce, meats and international groceries, al at reasonable prices.

Best independent supermarket that provides the best quality and super fresh fruit and vegetables. Unbelievable deli also offering the best wide range of goods. Overall excellent service and pricing and much better quality goods when compared to the majors. Will not shop anywhere else. Absolutely fantastic. Highly Recommend.

Great and friendly staff, fruit and veg are as fresh as they can get and normally at a better price. Love the international section at the back perfect for bar supplies. Highly recommend

Called the store as I wanted to buy a carton of cherry before flying out of Melbourne. The staff is so helpful! Got a carton of 5kg Tassie cherry they are really nice. The 2kg bigger size cherry are value for money too.

I have been going to Fresh On Young for years to get my fruit, veg, specialty cold meats and bread. Such a lovely home-atmosphere throughout the store and their products are reasonably priced with such high quality compared to other supermarket fresh food. Would recommend to pay a visit for anyone in the area!

Outside of the Vic Market this is where I do my fruit, vegie and deli shopping. A wide variety of foods available at reasonable prices. And the staff are friendly and provide great customer service (how many places do you know where a staff member will carry a box to your car?). Get yourself out of the supermarkets and shop at Fresh on Young!!

Absolutely love this place. I wish there were more like it in the West. Best grocery for miles around. Fruit and veg is top quality and always fresh. The staff are friendly. Tony is a legend. Other shops have a lot to learn from FOY or "Froung" as we like to call it. Try the lamb shawarma from the deli and the roast chicken is also very tasty. Great selection of continental foods.
