Fab location - park like gardens full of bird life, great coffee and very yummy home made cakes. So much history to learn about from this pioneering family. Makes a great coffee stop on the drive north.

Absolutely delicious (even our dog got a treat) and very friendly staff. Able to try all of the products before you buy without feeling pressured to do so (but you will want to buy something). Who knew carob could taste so good? Well worth a visit!

Staff were super friendly and it’s obvious that it’s a family business with lots of passion. The staff were friendly also to the children and it was great that we got to try samples before we made our purchase. Also loved hearing facts about the carob and its benefits. Unfortunately we went on a weekend so there was no demonstration, but I think it would be good to see. It’s only small, but worth a visit. Everything we tried was yum! Thanks for having us!

I love this place. The prices feel like they haven't changed in the past 20 years (since I was here last!).

Loved the honeycomb carob and rocky road. I should have got the normal carob, but grabbed the very popular no added sugar carob buds. Anyway they're still good, but I may melt them and turn it into a carob rocky road

Absolutely fantastic!!!
From the outside it’s just an old looking building, once you get inside it will blow your mind. The staff will take you into the factory where they are still making all the confectionery by hand with 100 year old machines, it’s outstanding. Staff are great, and OMG the sweets you can buy are beautiful.

Great place to visit. The front of the building is not much to look at but This is a real working chocolate factory and not just a retail store. They showed how honeycomb and carob sweets are made. Best of all, it is free to go in. Very educational. The chocolates were reasonably priced also.

Went here in September.
Free to watch them making there products, at the time they were making honeycomb and were given free samples of the freshly made honeycomb.
We will be back next time we pass through Coffs Harbour

Amazing place with such helpful staff who are the family who have been making chocolate for years. Watching a 79 year old man explain and make honeycomb was such a highlight.

Absolutely amazing family owned and locally created confectionery store! Everyone was super friendly and we had a great experience unexpectedly driving down the path to get some coffee ☕ The vegan chocolates are better than most of the fancy mainstream in brands.

If I could rate this infinity out if five stars I would! It was so so fun and we learnt a lot about how amazing carob is. The staff are some of the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met, and they happily answer any questions you may have. Its a great place to go for all ages. You will see 100 year old machines making carob buttons (which taste almost exactly like chocolate.) The staff happily explain how carob is a healthier alternative to chocolate, And if you ask them, they will also tell you about the Carob trees. They also have tastings, which where absolutely delicious. And the little cafe has great food as well. It was all very interesting and I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
P.S
A lot of the other reviews say that they weren’t doing much when they came, I would recommend coming at around 1 this is around when they start making the buttons. (This is us coming on a Thursday Just so you know)

While it may not look like anything fancy on the outside, the real treasure is inside. The Carob chocolate made here will make you obsessed. the staff here are very friendly and will happily take you through the process of how the chocolate is made and give samples. If you are nearby it is 100% worth stopping by for.

Such a lovely friendly place. Very generous samples available, and we got to watch honeycomb being made. The staff were so friendly - we had a chat to Wendy and Craig, who were both so passionate about what they do. And the product is fantastic. Carob is not like chocolate - if you value it for a product in its own right, it's delicious. And sweet enough to be enjoyed without added sugar.

An amazing experience to see this iconic place and how they make their chocolate. Greeted and shown around by the lovliest of ladies who thoroughly explained everything in finer detail. All questions were happily answered. A lot of great options to taste test chocolate, so many different types. Also very accommodating for the kids with a colouring in station. Another plus was the great coffee that I had. Probably the best in the region in my opinion. This was a very pleasant experience and I would encourage anyone in the area to drop by and learn about something so historic. The people that own this are so lovely and are incredibly passionate about their business.
