I highly recommend the bees knees spooler. Saved a lot of hassles and turned my spooling into a one-person operation.

The product is well made and machined; the threads are thick and marry perfectly with the heads. I used an F clamp to secure it to the bench but intend on buying the base plate someday which can be drilled vertically or horizontally to a bench or wall.

The line peels off smoothly and evenly and the tension can be adjusted to suit, tight enough that you won't be able to crank the reel by hand.

I can confirm the product works as advertised with any size of braid or mono spool so don't be concerned with the few comments on YouTube by those that clearly haven't used the product.

You can also adjust the length of the steel rod to minimise vibration and the time it takes to wind on the head.
