Petbarn Coburg

Visited the store yesterday and was greeted by a group of playful and cuddly puppies and kittens all available for adoption. It was really good to see them supporting and promoting Forever Friends Animal Rescue and providing their customers the opportunity to learn more about responsible pet ownership. Great work Petbarn!

Sandra and her team were fantastic their grooming skills are unmatched and Sandra’s attentive caring service was first rate.
Jules enjoyed being clipped and the attention to detail was amazing.

They were very polite and did a great job. The nurse described my Tasmanian devil of dog as "boisterous" and "cute". 10/10 will believe anything they say.

I mistakenly booked the Coburg location instead of Brunswick. The team was so nice to me and my dog when we showed up! They took the time to ring the Brunswick salon to get her records, so the visit was super easy. Really good, friendly service.

Sandra and her team are phenomenal, detail oriented, patient, animal loving, super groomers. My fluffy keeshond always looks amazing, is very well cared for and groomed exactly the way I ask. The team are collaborative, and discuss my needs each time. They are efficient and always have her ready on time, and she is not rushed. Even when I am running late they are kind and understanding. You can see that they really love dogs and the care the team show to all the dogs when I drop mine off is heart warming. I have been taking my dog there for a few years and would highly recommend them!!

Our Labradour enjoys her bath at Petbarn Coburg. Easy to use unit, warm water, includes shampoo, conditioner, and a flea rinse. She smells lovely afterwards. Parking is really easy and Staff are friendly and always give my dog a pat and a treat.

The grooming staff are great. My little dog gets quite narky being bathed and/or trimmed but Sandra always delivers. He hangs out with the other dogs so he has a social time as well.

I have a nervous & anxious rescue Shitzu/Maltese and her hair has gotten very long & matted. She won’t let me brush her. And I was very nervous in finding a groomer for her. Petbarn Coburg understood her needs & accommodated her. I’m so happy with the results & have a happier & comfortable pooch. She looks gorgeous & I can see her beautiful face. If you are loyal to them they will give you a discount. When I purchased stock online that was outdated, these guys remedied the situation by replacing the product with a very similar item. Some products are not exactly cheap, but you know they are effective. As an example, flea collars for my dad’s cat, very expensive but they last 8 months. Also, when I recently purchased wheat for my dad’s chooks the young girl at the counter was being trained. It was sensible that they were teaching her early in the morning rather than at a busier time of the day. Everyone was very pleasant. The chooks loved the wheat, it was a good quality Australian grown product!

Hi, I would like to acknowledge Ben for his caring and positive attitude. He always goes above and beyond for my dogs Zabrina and Sasha and I’m very pleased with the service.

Always a high quality service provided for our beloved Benji the groodle. The staff take great care of him and give him a perfect groom. He is so much more comfortable for the hot days ahead, thank you!

Just adding to what many of the others have been saying. The staff at Coburg are always so helpful and knowledgable about the product range and genuinely interested and caring about our animal's welfare. The range is excellent and the prices are reasonable and you can request the people on the registers to price match an equivalent available product elsewhere.

Staff are always very helpful, great range of stock. My number one choice for pet products.

Got an appointment within 1 week of calling. Prompt thorough and caring. Loved the free range nature of the grooming salon. Staff at counter did online price matching so saved heaps and all were super friendly. Pierced and tattoed groomer I would give 10 out of 10 for customer service. And ponytail glasses with red hair an absolute wonderful person. Would definitely come again

I visited this store on 02/03/2023 for bathing and deshedding of my 1 year old short-coated German Shepherd. I also added on ‘the ultimate package’ for $15 so the total cost was $85 (an especially reasonable price due to Petbarn offering in-store Afterpay).

This was Sookie’s first successful visit to a professional groomer and it took less than an hour and a half. Very happy with the experience, despite her trying to dirty herself as much as possible upon leaving. We’ll definitely return for any grooming needs she requires in the future.
