Starburst Diner

We always look for a good highway stop. We stopped here regularly as the new manager is very friendly and takes a lot of care in making sure his customers are happy. We had a home cooked butter chicken dish and it was excellent. Had a great experience. Keep up the good work guys And girls

I have always enjoyed this diner as one of my stops between Brisbane and Mackay. Today was no exception. Best burger I have ever had, fresh, hot and served very quickly

Grandkids had fun playing in the play slide,and the food came out quickly .
The chicken burgers and steak sandwich were pretty good .
Kids had nuggets and chips
Cheaper than Maccas

We enjoyed our lunch -good service & delicious food with reasonable price.

I go into star burst regularly and don’t get me wrong the food is great depending on who is on but tonight I felt so sorry for the ladies working it was 30 degrees plus in the café tonight and these ladies were dripping in sweat, red faced and will be dehydrated by the time they finish tonight, everyone was seated out side in the cool breeze complaining about the heat inside please get the aircon fixed for the sake of your workers and patrons.

Have been eating at this diner for about 8 years while working on them road and now whenever in traveling. The food is always good the service prompt and the ladies are always friendly and very helpful. I recommend stopping here for a break and a meal, they even have a kid's playground.

Simple little road side cafe, but the food is good, the facilities are clean and the prices are good. Has a range of traveller's supplies as well as hot and cold food. Nothing fancy, but everything you'll want from a road side diner.

Called for breakfast this morning, lovely service, great food and good music that the cook was bobbin to. Highly recommend the Indian breakfast wrap.

Called in for dinner with family, burgers were very tasty, children loved the chips & drink, steak was cooked to perfection salad was fresh, great coffee, affordable prices, staff polite & helpful, great atmosphere, nice to use a clean rest room, will definitely call again

Just what I needed after leaving Rockhampton early this morning. Ordered the T-bone with salad & chips and it went down a treat. Perfect place to break that long drive & re-energize with a good meal. Friendly service.

Lovely young lady Alyssa made us the best steak works burgers we’ve ever had. So happy we decided to come in tonight, we’ll be back for sure!

Best price for meals had the biggest juicy T-bone it was amazing fresh salad and chips just fantastic. Staff friendly and gave excellent service. Well done and Thanks

Great food and coffee, open late for a takeaway. Restroom and shower was clean too.
