Fantastic mineral and semi-precious display, as well as the confounding craters [YOU figure it out, lol] with a viewing platform to look over them.
Some sheltered tables for the small cafe, a rolling video presentation about the craters [including the Leyland Brothers!], n a very cool little dinosaur diorama.
Also plenty of room allowed for camping

An easy access, family friendly destination close to Bundaberg. The craters are captivating and amazing. The grounds, coffee shop and earth room are all well maintained, clean & tidy. Good milkshake and scones, take a seat while the kids play a game of ring toss. Worth a visit locals and tourists alike.

Great place to visit with the whole family! Agnele and her children were so friendly and welcoming and make some great coffee too. They recently opened their ‘Earth Room’ which is a beautiful space to learn about the spiritual side of the craters and the land while the cinema room goes over the scientific/historic side, a great mix.

What a great couple of hours!! The family went for a short drive from Bundaberg out to the Mystery craters where we were greeted by the owners son. He was polite and courteous and offered some suggestions. We ventured outside where we saw the owners talking with some guests, who were having some lunch. The family and I watched the short informative clip about the history of Mystery Craters. It would be fantastic if more geological experts could invest the time and determine how and why the craters came to be and how far they actually spread!
We finished off with some lunch (croissants and toasties) and iced coffees and iced chais made by Gabriel. They were amazing. Having a chat with Duncan and Angiel was really wholesome. They were down to Earth, honest people who really believe in the special place they are promoting. Come here if you are tired of pretentiousness and want to experience real people. I loved it.

My family went to these craters in 2016 and my sister and I were in the area this weekend so decided to check it out. The atmosphere of the place was completely different and refreshing. Agnele and her children were so friendly and great to talk to. It was great hearing the history and origin of the craters and finishing off with a nice coffee. Definitely worth a visit.

The mystery craters experience is definitely one to tick off the bucket list. There's nothing else like it! The perfect location to stop in and have a rest before continuing the driving, nice spot for a picnic. It's educational, a conversation starter, and you never know what you might see in the mystery craters. They also have started to expand and have an awesome display that would keep a rock enthusiast happy! A small team but all with big welcoming smiles! Come support this local and expanding business!

This is a really interesting place to stop. Delicious Maleny icecream and Reef Coffee. The craters are beautiful. The new owners are doing a great job. There are nice gem stone gifts to purchase and display of different minerals etc. Games set up for the kids to play. You can camp here too. Toilets are super clean.

We just visited the Mystery Craters at South Kolan, QLD. Absolutely fascinating! So many theories on how these were created, one being man made concrete. There is no way these are concrete. The owners were so truly lovely. Dogs are welcome too as long as they are on a lead and you had poo bags to clean up after them. Excellent gift shop full of crystals and other precious stone gifts. Cafe, coffee, food and drinks. Great video on the Craters.

My partner visited the craters as a child and wanted to show the kids and I this place. The kids and I were in awe of the craters and spent the whole time debating what it is. We met the lovely couple who have taken over the place and it was so amazing to hear their story and how they have brought the place back to life. We also enjoyed the butter croissants at the cafe - was delicious!

New owners have spruced this up and it was much better than I expected from the old reviews. They're full of enthusiasm to continue to grow the attraction. The coffee is also the best in the area, so worth stopping in even if you're not a geology junkie.
