Not 5 star from a point of a luxury hotel but a great base for fishing the lake. Accommodation was clean and neat and had all the facilities we needed.

Traveling solo with caravan, drive through site. Very clean and well maintained amenities, very hot showers with great pressure. Very quiet, need to book coming into school holidays, gets very busy really quickly. Lovely bush setting, pet friendly but must be on a leash and clean up after your pet. Stayed one night as I was on my way home but would like to return in the future for a couple of days.

Nice clean and tidy caravan park near Lake (Dam). Clean amenities. Nicely mowed and groomed parklands. Great value for a moderately priced park. Good place to spend a night when passing through or stay for a holiday. Would certainly stay again.

Nice grassy areas, well mown, very green. The unpowered space is best suited for caravans and camper trailers as it has a slight slope but could be tented if desired.
Toilets and showers the cleanest of any place we have been ever.
Put put golf available.
Well equipped camp kitchens.
Reception has a small shop with essentials.
Overall very good place.

Best place to stay! Nothing is a problem, ammenities are clean, staff are super friendly and helpful. Rob and Kell have managed this place for as long as I can remember and have never wavered in their efforts and service to the angling and traveling community. Highly recommended.

There was a lot of stars in the sky and it felt like the stars were about to spill onto me. The grass was really soft and it felt like l was on a bed of cloud. It is also dog friendly. I had a great time here.😍🤩

We stopped here for the night and had a great time. The unpowered grass area was level and easy to pitch our tent. Amenities and kitchen were clean and well stocked. Campfires only permitted on designated places and fire safety equipment available. Guests were civil and obeyed noise restrictions. Reception staff were friendly. Only annoying thing is no wifi and mobile reception limited. We would stay again!

Great holiday park. Friendly staff. Clean toilets, showers and camp kitchen. Camp kitchen is very well equipped. Beautiful green grass and lots of space to spread out if you don’t need power. Lots of wildlife.

This is a delightful park. Far from the madding crowd!
There is plenty of space for everyone. The amenities are roomy & clean. Both camp kitchens are well-appointed with everything you need including hand wash & paper towels. The bbq plates & tables are clean. And the only sounds are the chatting of lorikeets, a laughing kookaburra & lowing cattle. Glorious!

What an amazing spot! We found this place in the Camps 10 book, 2020. So wonderfully set out with powered and unpowered caravan sites. There is a lovely area for tents. They have an area where you may run generators, a good distance away from folk wanting peace and quiet. They are dog friendly, have plenty of walking tracks including a 7km return hike. You may walk the dam wall, hire a cabin, a house or a house boat. I believe the fishing is good, I know the sunsets are amazing! Get your whole family here...it's seriously good. Disclosure...there is limited WiFi and no tv reception...but you are allowed fires! I didn't hear one child complaining. Best of all, I got an 86 sleep score on my fitbit....so peaceful! This park is only 4km off the Bruce Highway and very reasonably priced.

I stayed at an unpowered campside and it was really nice. There was plenty of room, clean kitchens and bathrooms that are well stocked with soap, the grounds are perfectly manicured, the receptionist is helpful and the kiosk has everything you need. At $13, this is a steal.

Great location. We are Sailors and the Lake offers beautiful scenery. Facilities are good and plenty of room. If you are towing a caravan or boat they have drive through sites, powered and water.
If you want to fish you must obtain licence.
This is our second visit and we will be back again in 2021.

Great stop on the A1 if you're doing a long trip. Dog friendly caravan park. I booked a powered site but when I saw the amazing grassed area of the unpowered section I moved there, got myself a quiet spot directly looking out over the cow fields lots of space for my dog to walk around and roll in the grass. Not many mosquitoes or midgies here. Not right by the water like it looks in the photos, but a 1 min drive to the boat ramp. Been a long time since I saw that many stars in the sky.

We stayed in the cabin which is setup for someone with a disability. Everything was well laid out and made the stay more comfortable. The linen was clean and everything we needed for cooking etc was to hand. We also found everyone involved with the running of the park very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant and memorable stay. Thanks Kelly and Rob.

Facilities are some of the best and cleanest I have had the pleasure of using. We set up our swags and made full use of the camp kitchen during our 3 day stay. Toilet amenities block was clean and tidy at all times. Fishing was tough but the holiday park was a great surprise. Will scrub up even better when the drought breaks but I can thoroughly recommend it.
