Hawker Caravan Park

Awesome Caravan Park, with lovely shady tent site and the best swimming pool after a hot day driving. Highly recommend for a overnight stay before the Flinders Ranges.

Staff was really helpful. We had a situation where our car met with an accident and was waiting for a tow service which delayed our checkout time for couple of hours. It was so kind of the staff, she offered us to get dropped in nearby transportation service to Adelaide and not charging us for couple of hours of extending our stay because of this accident.

We have been here one night, 3 to go, and have already come to the conclusion that this is one of the best caravan parks we have been to. The staff have been so welcoming and helpful. The location is very suitable for exploring the Flinders Ranges and Hawker provides many options for eating and shopping.

Great vibe! Spacious! Just a generally chill place to stay. Would stay again 100%. Easy to book online. Playground and swimming pool. Communal fire. Did not get placed right next to another person which was nice to have some space. Loved it.

We were going to stay one night but ended up staying a few more. The owner and his dad are super lovely and very accommodating, the park has a real lovely feel about it, it’s honestly one of our favorite CP. Amenities were super clean, shower was great and pool was a treat. It’s a great spot to explore the area and has a fantastic public dog park across the road (a few bindi’s there atm).
We came after 5 and the office was shut there’s a sign saying find a spot and pay in the morning, which was a relief. Short walk Into town and great views of the FR. Didn’t feel cramped or crowded and it was easy to maneuver out 20’ CV.

We enjoyed a quiet night here on an unpowered site, with the layout did need to unhook. Great bush setting with nice outlook to the Flinders Ranges. Beautiful town with a couple of great looking pubs. Agreed with another comment about being a preferred park as Parachilna and Leigh Creek didnt look as inviting for a stopover. Lots of groundswork being done here to make a nice experience for travellers. Appreciated, thank you!

Very friendly couple working here. All facilities were very clean and the pool is great to cool off.

Stayed 9 out of our 10 Travel Auction nights. Would have stayed all 10 but family commitments intervened :-(
Great hub for exploring the district. It was nice to come back to a well designed and well managed park. Great weather too!

Great camping on the eastern side of Hawker township.

The staff was so helpful guiding us and allowing us that little extra time because of an car accident happened to us the previous night. I wasn't able to go around much but surely coming back again. 😊

Spent 5 nights at caravan park as part of a travel auction deal. Caravan park is not glitzy or glamorous but just how I like them, clean, friendly, tidy and welcoming!! Plenty of level, easy to access sites and dated but clean facilities. During our stay, met the owner of the park who was covering for the managers and had a few drinks around a firepit with him and a couple of his mates who were helping out. He is in the process of making ongoing improvements. Look forward to coming back for the 2nd five day stint of the travel auction deal.

This place is great to explore the flinders ranges, clean bathrooms amazing staff loved our stay here.

Hawker town had an amazing gallery and the pub is old but good is great

Staying for 3 nights. They have all facilities that are needed. Everything is clean and well maintained. Owners are very friendly. Walking distance to town and most of the sites. Love the Anzac memorial that you can walk through the back gate to see. Well lit for night trips to the showers. Hope to come again as it's close to other towns of historical interest.

Great little independent caravan park. Easy short drive to Flinders Ranges. Reasonable price for powered sites. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean amenities, pool, and camp kitchen.

What a place. The owner was extremely helpful and obliging. We had the pick of the sites. We picked one just up near the road to get the view of the flinders rangers. I was slightly concerned about the road noise but it was silent. What a tranquil place. Amenities were well appointed and spotless. Well looked after place. Totally would visit again

We had a cabin with views to the Elder ranges and Rawnsley bluff, for 5 nights. December is off season so we had the whole park to ourselves most of the time.
This is a great base to explore the central Flinders Ranges. We were lucky with the weather, mid 30s but for the dusty wind before a mild cold front.

The 3 berth cabin has plenty of space and everything works.

I loved this place! So peaceful and wow the budget studio cabin is great, so clean and set out beautifully. A great pool and camp kitchen area where I cooked a BBQ every night stayed 1 then 2 then 3 nights! Ha the owners are genuine lovely ppl.

An excellent caravan park in a quiet location. Great camping sites. One of my friends stayed at a cabin and they loved it too.

John was a great host and he was very accommodating.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay!
