My Dad’s Honey

The best place in Echuca to enjoy a coffee or a meal and look out over the river. Nice seating areas inside and outside, my friend is in a wheelchair and had easy access to both areas. Good, very well priced food and friendly, helpful staff. My friends and i really enjoyed our visit here, 5 stars from us🌟

Had a lovely breakfast by the Murray River. The staff were lovely and efficient and the food was amazing. The honeycomb on the yoghurt breakfast was delicious.

Great view and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good drinks and food at fair price. Dog friendly.

Ordered online, and received a cute hamper and delicious honey. Glad to find good honey that is relatively local. Initially there was some confusion, but that got sorted. The lady I spoke to seems lovely.

Had the Big Breakfast which was nice, the chicken sliders, which were great, and ice coffee and mead. Mead was fantastic and ended up taking a few cans home. Definitely coming back.

Lovely lunch, not the usual boring menu items - asian prawns, lentil curry, various avocado toasts. Cheery efficient service and a great outlook.

An amazing venue with lovely views of the Murray River, great place to watch boats drive by. The service is friendly, with a family-run vibe. The presentation of the food looks good too, but unfortunately some of the food wasn't so fresh. The slider bread I had was very dry, so it definitely wasn't baked fresh on the day (maybe bake your own or buy fresh from the bakery in town each morning). The beef patty in the slider was ok, but could be more juicy and flavoursome (perhaps add a bit of fatty meat, high heat to seal both sides before cooking through the middle part). The hot dog uses a type of frankfrut that had too much food colouring (consider changing to an alternative brand). The coffee bean wasn't fresh (only open on the day) and it hasn't been calibrated well so it lacks aroma and was bitter (maybe go for training in Melbourne; or perhaps from 7 Beans in town). However, all of these can be changed and improved! I look forward to the next visit.

45 minute wait for 2 small sliders and a small serving of chips. Chicken sliders had the thinnest bit of cold chicken, and they lacked flavour. Could understand if it was busy, but there was only a few people there. Coffee was bitter too. I was looking forward to trying this place, but have been left disappointed.

Sad, best venue in Echuca due to its location, we had to get our own menu even after waiting in a queue. No table service, we were told to wait, waited 15 mins & then left. Can't rate the food as we didn't get any. We will try again, as I don't like giving -ve reviews, early days.
