We arrived 20 minutes before closing, they were very friendly and welcoming. Ordered a works beef/chicken Burger with 1 x small wedges and a tub of gravy.

Everything was amazing, from being asked how I'd like my egg to sauce preference, we did not wait long either for all the food to be finished and ready. The wedges were nice and cripsy, the gravy was amazing, and so were the burgers.

The layout of the place is a bit of nostalgia with no sensory overload, really simple elegant layout.

The price here is so cheap for the food, can't wait to go back again.

P.S the slushies are great, ask my wife, she wouldn't share.

My whole family loves the red shop. Amazing burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes....well everything! Never left hungry. Plus the people that run it are lovely. The lunch time deliveries are a bonus. I only wish they did deliveries with their new pizzas Saturday nights and that they were open more nights other than that I hope they stick around as it's the best takeaway in town now

Best Hamburger with the works in Taree and I am claiming that after trying each that I could find the past few months! Asked how to present the egg, soft or hard, pineapple or not... Choice of sauces. The patty is cooked just right. Have tried several now and it is consistent. I ordered with no bun (Burger in a box) and they really are tasty. Coffee is also tops. Friendly service and a good price.

Food is great and reasonably priced compared to all other shops within our area. For $10 the hamburgers are huge, tasty and quite filling. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place for a good feed that won't break the budget.

Absolutely gorgeous meals, cooked with love unbelievable taste and desire and flavours why not grab a meal coffee Slurpie, thick shake ice cream cones with amazing flavours on offer and then just around the side. Extremely wonderful experience connecting today with cheerful-genuine-friendly business owners who excel in what they offer in every way; FRESHLY cooked food on the spot (I was asked how I wanted it - now that's very rare); awesome coffee; great value! I was looking for authentic fresh takeaway and found it. The brekkie roll/flat white combo was heaven!! Omg.

We were looking for traditional fish and chips in Taree and was recommended The Red Shop. Called in and loved it. The Fish Cakes are the traditional flat cakes and tasty as was the fish and potato scallops. Well done guys.
