Beautiful quirky little stopover from a bygone era. Love the ye olde atmosphere and decor. Great coffee and the cornish pastie was delicious. Staff very friendly, took the time to explain the buildings fascinating history, highly recommended....

As you approach Emily's Bistro it is clear it's from a bygone era. From the window decorations to inside furniture and decor. There is a delicious selection of pastries, pies and cakes. The family that run it, are friendly and happy to have a chat. I'm looking forward to return.

Lovely staff, delightful decor, good variety of savoury pies and sweet pastries, largest range of milkshake flavours I ever saw.

Emily's was a bright spot in my trip to Australia. I stopped on a whim as I drove through Quorn and was greeted by the loveliest people - the family who owns and runs the cafe. The cafe itself is both an old-fashioned store plus cafe with delicious goods and coffee. On a Saturday afternoon it was full of townspeople -- it reminded me of small-town life at it's very best (but with elevated food (wonderful veggie pastie and iced coffee)). A must-stop!

Great food, service and ambiance. Full breakfast was foodie heaven, fresh greens, homemade relish, poached eggs, amazing bacon, special gluten free pancake. Tea is loose tea in a teapot, coffee also good. Located in a beautiful old general store.

Utterly magnificent food. We stopped in for dinner on the two nights we were in Quorn. We tried both the duck breast with plum sauce and the pork sausages with gravy. Both meals were utterly magnificent!

The most amazing food in a truly unique space! This is a rare treat in this little Flinders Ranges town. An absolute must to visit if you are traveling through. If you pass through without trying this little known gem, you will never know what you missed.

Loved the authentic setting, with the original shop shelves, and old stuff, some of which you can buy. Nothing pokey about this shop. Gluten free frittata came with some salad and was delicious. Good coffee and amazing-looking baked goods. If I could, I would have eaten a Kitchener bun, generous sized and sparkling, full of fresh whipped cream.

Friendly staff, interesting things to look at, but the meals (four hour lamb rump and Beef Wellington) were the best dishes we had in the Flinders Ranges. The rosemary damper was tasty, crunchy, and morish, and it was $2.50! Unheard of value.

Make sure you stop here next time you are in the area. Emily's Bistro is simply one of the main reasons I visit Quorn!
This place used to be a store called "Great Northern Emporium", and thankfully the management has preserved as much as possible of its previous history.
The furniture, and especially the items from the old store proudly arranged on the shelves, define its quirky identity and make this a place you will want to visit again, and take many pictures of.
Their food is traditional, simple and heartwarming as much as the genuine smiles from the staff - just lovely, very friendly and chatty even at peak times.
Their Quandong Pie is amazing, their Sunday Lamb spit is more than just a good meal: it's a ritual where people gather together in a traditional way. They also serve delicious homemade Dampers (traditional soda bread).
I only wish it didn't take 4 hours for me to get to Quorn from Adelaide!

This is a really cool place to come and take in the atmosphere of this wonderful former general store while you enjoy some of their freshly made baked goods. Best Kitchener bun I have ever had by far!

If you are stopping at Quorn make sure you drop in for a coffee. Its located in the historic old emporium and they have kept lots of the original features such as the money/change flying fox (I don't know what it's called!) cashiers used to use before cash registers.
Located 1 street back from the main street/old railway station.

Fantastic. Loved the atmosphere of yesteryear. Want to make it a regular stopping place when visiting Quorn. Food & service was great. Friendly, personal, genuine service of a family business. Wrapped!

Must visit place in Quorn, quirky, friendly, coffee, breakfast and dinner. Accommodation out the back, and they understand cyclists and vegans (as well as great steak, as I've been reliably informed)
