This is a worthy stop on a Big Things tour. It’s not huge, but it’s attractive and well made. There’s a farm dam next to it which attracts pretty birds too.

The Big Shovel is a genuine "Big Thing" and should be on every tourist's list of things to do when in this part of the world. Why not also visit the nearby Big Ned Kelly at Glenrowan and the Big Wine Bottle at Rutherglen and have a very big day out?!
