I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Telegraph Hotel in Chiltern, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made me feel right at home.

Now, let’s talk about the food. It was nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and expertly presented. I couldn’t get enough of the delicious flavors that graced my taste buds.

Middle of the day, it was hot. Wanted a beer, service was fast and courteous. It was quiet in there, just a few locals doing the same as me. Clean and inviting. Would return!

What a great country pub. Plenty of space food was fantastic and plentiful. Great friendly service. Burger and Parmi pictured.

Good pub food (including weekend roasts) with cosy fire during winter. Indoor or outdoor seating, popular on weekends with tourists and locals.

We had dinner there Saturday night and it was really nice. Pretty busy but was looked after really well. The food was awesome. Plenty on our plates. Highly recommended.

Not the most upmarket looking venue inside or out BUT, the lunch meals were excellent. Salmon and honey Soy was delicious. Service excellent and wines local. Very well priced and highly recommended. 🍺🍷🥂❤👍

Another great pub meal, I had a Greek Parma, I tend to rate pubs by their Parma's because this is a level field, If you get a great Parma with great service and within half hour, We has to be happy.

The Black Dog Bistro and beer garden, excellent food. Incredibly good actually, surpassed my expectations for a twenty dollar meal and dessert. There is a REAL chef here, the best short crust pastry I have tasted since my Nana's! Highly recommend.

Great food and relaxing feeling. Great beer garden to take your dog

Wow, the warmth of the staff and owner here was out of the world. We were on our way back to Melbourne from Sydney and stopped here for a quick bite. They had closed a little earlier but were courteous and offered us fish and chips. We also had a good time chatting with the staff, will be back again for sure 😊😊

We had such a wonderful family lunch here! Service was truly amazing, was exactly the pit stop we needed with 2 small children and a dog. Perfect with the outdoor playground and secure garden area for kids and dogs. We will definitely be back!!

Had a nice lunch. The roast pork was delicious as was the huge telegraph hamburger. The cook catered for special needs such as extra gravy. The fireplace made it warm and cosey on a cold day. Wheel chair access available

Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. The chicken Parma & Pot was a big hit, and my wife loved the roast pork and vegies, cooked perfectly. Can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

Host with a friendly disposition and good sense of humour. The meal was delicious and outstanding value. By the way, the "Big Fella who hasn't been drunk since 1969" says g'day. Cheers.
