Toogoolawah Hotel

My friend and I were riding the Rail Trail on horseback and stayed at the Showgrounds. We were picked up in the courtesy vehicle and had a lovely meal before being dropped back. Such hospitable and kind staff and delish food. Highly recommend stopping here!

The meals are HUGE! And the place is genuinely pet-friendly 🐶. I whiled away 4 hours there with my dog the other day (and had steak lunch) while my car got serviced and they were very accommodating and not at all peeved about the length of stay! Thanks for having me, ill be back again!

Amazing food. Great service

A little confusing on entry as there we'd never been before and it was very quiet. Ordered 6 meals, 3 aged rump, maple glazed pork cutlets, cowboy steak on the bone and a reef and beef all with chips and salad. Meals were humungous, excellent quality ingredients and absolutely delicious. This place is a must go and experience the top quality food and the very unusual yet eclectic and odd, though interesting and conversation starting Decor. Brilliant little hidden treasure in the Somerset region.

Wonderful local hotel with friendly staff, the food was amazing.

We had dinner and drinks here tonight, and wow what a find.
The $20 400g T BONE, chips, salad my Husband had was cooked perfectly and huge.
I opted for the pizza, and there is enough left over for dinner tomorrow night, was filling and delicious and cheap.
The staff were friendly, the locals in the bar were friendly and we felt as tourists very welcome.
Don't go past this hotel if you enjoy good quality food and great service. And there is a free camp across the road from it. How can go wrong.

Order T Bone Steak with an extra plate - to put the steak on so you can see the chips !

I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely accommodation and friendly staff here at the Toogoolawah Hotel. Great value for money and free continental breakfast. A+ guys. Thank you. (P.s. only downside-the mattress in no.6 is hard as a rock).

We often organise motorcycle rides around this area and stop in to the Hotel for lunch. There are sometimes 40 of us and we are always very impressed with the food they serve. Big portions, good choice, great price and so we keep coming back!

What a fantastic old pub, with a great range of beer and spirits, friendly staff. Their meals are truly fantastic and are huge at affordable prices.

Good old fashioned country hospitality. The owner went out of her way to make us warm and comfortable. The chicken parmy was the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of pub parmis).

Wanted to go to a good country pub , have a steak and beer. Drove out today sat on the rear deck with my kids . Food was great , very prompt and the staff were very friendly. Great Aussie country pub will be back

Had lunch at the toogoolawah hotel today.
I had the steak sandwich and mum had the veggie spring rolls.
Both meals where fantastic.
As where all the meals we saw come out today.
The staff should be very proud of their efforts and the quality of the food.

We had awesome friendly welcoming service and the food was excellent and great sized meal (the special meals are super value and sizing) , the staff actually took a intreast and made you feel like a local, we will be back

What a great old school classic pub! Good specials during the week and really lovely waitresses! Definitely recommend popping in and having a beer or two with your meal.

Prices for some stock cheaper than Sandgate.
Staff were okay.

What a great find, Thursday night $25 for anything on the menu, they throw in a free drink and dessert, food was fantastic, great country pub. Will definitely be back maybe to do the rail trail that passes through.

It's not often I order a steak out because I just know it'll come back with pink in it no matter how dead I ask them to cook it but these guys did it right! Thanks for cooking my steak well done!!
