Worth the drive for the spectacular views. 800m dirt road easy if taken slow.

Great view point easily accessible by vehicule. Can enjoy both sunrise and sunset

A place worthy your visit. The most beautiful lookout nearby. Even you can feel it’s a little bit like Lake Wanaka in NZ.

There is no question that the view is amazing! The road to get there is quite tricky though and can be a bit confusing as there wasn't much sign.

Amazing view over the dam. Steep and beautiful road to get up there. Picnic tables and barbecue available.

Excellent overview of the lake. Last bit of the road is gravel but doable in any vehicle.

Beautiful view of lake Elidon. Picnic spot with incredible views worth the drive. Last 200m is Bit of offroad but you don't need 4 wheel drive.

Another great viewpoint of Lake Eildon, and an absolute must if driving around the lake. Less parking here compared with the one over the waterway, and there's a short path up from the road to the viewpoints. Benches at the top and a small shaded area. Roadside parking and a small plaque to read in the area too.

Lovely spot to take in the view lakes of the High Country. It takes a mid of gravel driving to reach the spot, but it’s absolutely worth it. There are a few more spots you can stop along the ride to take in the beauty.

Worth to visit again

Easy drive to the lookout. Last bit was a dirt track. No designated parking area but plenty of room to pull over as the traffic is sent one direction around the lookout.

Awesome drive up to the lookout area. Plenty of windy roads and forestry areas. As usual always make sure your spare tyre is fully functional, especially when you’re actually driving up to the lookout. The road is not sealed and the rocks/gravel etc. is pretty rough on your tyres.

Most amazing place, drive is windy and can be rough during wet seasons. But the view is absolutely beautiful.

Don't stop where the power lines are. Drive right around to see the full view of the lake. Very nice spot if you want to have lunch there.

On top of the mountain, gravel road to reach on top.. grab a cup of coffee and relax, ample car park space

Worth stopping for sure, Several vantage points on the road that loops back on itself
