Eildon Spillway Lookout

A great structure dedicated to farming. Its amazing to see it close to 100% full. The boat ramp is nearby with good access.

The lookout has an earthen tower, tgat guves great views, but maybe difficult for some to access. However, the car park offers great views and is easy for wheelchair users.

Only a couple of hours from Melbourne, Eildon makes a great stop-off point for on leisurely weekend drive. There's good parking, toilets, and the views from the top of the dam wall are lovely. Can get busy in summer, as the parking is used for boat trailers.

A great place for a quick break with a viewing platform at the top of the stairs. Shaded area at the top, so good for a quick bite too. Plenty of parking with spaces for towing too. Absolutely stunning views of the lake, with another viewpoint just across the waterway too.

It's fantastic to see the dam full again. You can drive across the wall and you get a great view of the spill way. Then head up to the lookout fantastic scenery

A must see if you're in the area. Great views, and the man power and history behind this dam is truly amazing.
If you're lucky enough you may even see the spillway in action :)

This is another place at lake eildon which you should not miss because the 360 degrees views from the platform around is so breathtaking that you would like to stay there for long time. The parking for bus, cars trailers possible. See the spillway working and the water and height on both sides of the Spillway.

Some great views from up here over looking the Lake and down stream along the Goulburn river. There is plenty of parking here and a few steps to climb to get up to the top. I would also recommend the Lookout area on the other end of the dam wall, the views from there a better.

It is amazing to see just how high the wall is & also quite daunting to be standing there.

The dam was extremely full. And everything was green as can be.

Great place to visit over the weekend. Plenty of parking

Cool place to visit if you’re driving through. There’s plenty of other lookouts nearby and this one is right next to the carpark.

Drive over the dam wall and see the water flow!

I went just after heavy rains and the spillway was free flowing. Calm Eildon lake on one side and the spillway pouring through the other!

Nice covered gazebo to view and relax as well

Lots of parking spaces, covered gazebo with seating, and splendid views of the town, spillway and of course, of the lake.
