Eildon Pondage Holiday Park

Spent the weekend at this caravan park, it was great, very good service from staff and park is quite nice, location is also great - just a short drive from town. Special thanks to Sheryl and husband that helped me getting my pegs out of ground as my drill run out of battery.
Will be back for sure, a bit of a shame dogs are not allowed in peak seasons but understand that some owners can act carelessly.

Bindaree has used Eildon Pondage Holiday Park for many years with our school programs and staff training. We have had a long and fruitful relationship. The location is fantastic with plenty of space for the school groups away from other campers. The facilities have always been in good order and are centrally located making it easy to cater for bigger groups. When running programs on Lake Eildon the location is fantastic and the crew always ready to help out with anything that we need.

Beautiful place right on the water. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. When we arrived in the late afternoon the lights were on and the heating had warmed the cabin. That was very much appreciated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this place.

Such a beautiful spot. We came in winter and it was exactly what we wanted! The staff were very friendly and informative of any questions we had. The cabin was warm and comfortable and the location had plenty to offer.
We will definitely be back!

Fantastic place to stay, powered sites are clean and lawns throughout the park are mowed making the park look amazing. Booked a cabin for family, cabins are very clean and well presented. Paul & Sally have been very helpful to us throughout our stay and great managers for the park. The pool area and the surrounding grass and undercover seating are also very clean and well looked after. Have just booked again for next year for three weeks. I live in Darwin and have been coming to Eildon Pondage Holiday Park for the past 15yrs and my husband has been coming here all his life. Geoff loves his trout fishing. All the trout was caught in the pondage.

I don’t normally write reviews but decided too as park and people were great. We booked in at the last min for the long weekend as our plans had changed and the ladies at the front desk were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Park itself is well maintained, the grounds are excellent and lots to do for all. Will definitely return.

Great place for a holiday. Amazing entertainment for the kids. Great fishing and relaxation.

Beautiful campsite. Quiet and peaceful next to the water. Toilets and showers are simple but adequate. Fires 🔥 are allowed but only if you use the pits provided by the park. Would definitely visit again.

I've been in this caravan park after a very long trip, I was tired and made a mistake on the booking, ended up staying one extra night and I was not charged. Yes I've already been in this caravan with the older manager, now is managed by new owners... I appreciate the effort of the new management but an extra smile will be very appreciated anyway! We camped all around Australia and Eildon lake is just a jet that must be preserved, please do this effort and make your customer happier!! I love this place and I will be back no metter what, fishing is great, atmosphere is great. The only thing I recommend is to handle better the space, we were a couple, easy going making no noise at all and just next to us there were a group of 15 people making a lot of noise... please try to be aware of people spaces and give the space not just as order of number but try to think of people needs!!! Anyway I'm still happy and grateful to the lady at the reception for fixing us with no issues. Again appreciate the effort but try to think more about the customers and the happiness of the place...

Lovely and friendly staff. The park was well maintained and very clean, there was plenty of things to do with out having to leave the holiday park. We stayed in the koala family cabin, it was absolutely spotless compared to other places we have been. Definitely going back with the family! Thanks for a lovely experience.

Cabins are warm and comfortable. Fishing is great and the park is well maintained with plenty to do for the kids.
Located close to town for supplies and a well stocked fishing tackle shop where Craig is happy to share his local knowledge of the area.
There's also plenty of local roos and Sambar deer close to town especially at night... even coming into the park if it's not too busy. The kids loved it and we had a very relaxing 5 night stay.

Great customer service loved the cabin beds where a bit hard but we lived..
Great location fished the river 29 rainbow trout we will be back again for sure.

Awesome place for camping with families. Toilets and showers are always clean. Staff members are friendly and always helpful. Has: fully serviced communal kitchen, swimming pool, mini Golf, playground, bouncing trampoline, volley ball net and tennis court. Highly recommend and will bring the family back.

We had an amazing experience with our 500 campers hiring out most of the park! Amazingly hospitable park!
Enjoy a couple of the photos next to the lake or the amazing sky we can see from there. The trees have been lit up by multi coloured flood lights

My family had such a great stay with you.the park had everything we needed plus more to have a great time. The new pool and the jumping pillow was a highlight for my daughter

The camp ground, bbq area and toliet/shower blocks were very clean and I notice That the owner(Ray) was always around to make sure nothing was out of place and to assist with anything we may need

The camp ground Fronts Eildon poundage with great fishing right by your van or tent. It was great to have a few drinks, fishing and watching the sun go down as a family

I highly recommend staying here and will certainly be back to stay.

Great family friendly park. Heaps of things for the kids to do. Lovely and safe.

Nice holiday park with many amenities within including a pool, swings slides and a gaint jumping pillow.

If you are not traveling for kids the place is also nice for couples or adult groups to break away from everything and enjoy nature.

The location of the park is great as it's close to the dam and shopping area both are around 700meters.

Since the place is in the bush make sure you carry insect repellent.

We have a family member recently purchase an onsite van and we have had the pleasure of staying at this holiday park twice now. Once on a powered site and once in the family onsite van. Both trips were very enjoyable. The owners / staff are very friendly and helpful. Pricing is quite affordable for a reasonably well maintained park. We look forward to many more trips up there.

We had an awesome stay over the Cup long weekend. Kids loved the mini golf and jumping pillow. Cabins were neat and had all the utensils etc we needed. Pizza oven in the BBQ area also worked a treat to bake the trout we caught at the Eildon trout farm, just down the road! Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a beautiful caravan park with very friendly and inviting staff! The lady I spoke to on the phone was lovely. I have been there twice now and it is the perfect location.
