Sunshine's at Lake Cathie

I enjoy almost daily my "Golden Latte" ( Healthy Hot Tumeric Latte ) from Sunshines. I know they go to a lot of extra effort, but its always perfect and I appreciate it. The friendliness of the staff, the great uplifting music and the amazing vista of Lake Cathie, is worth the trip. My advice for anyone driving by, do yourself a favour and drop in. One of the best kept secrets of Lake Cathie.

What was supposed to be a quick 10 minute coffee stop on route to Sydney, became an hour due to a delicious breakfast, amazing coffee and customer service that would make you feel part of the family. My young dog had a lot to say that morning but was treated and loved so kindly that he was calm in minutes and enjoyed the beautiful setting of sunshine and water, along with the warmth of the Sunshine’s team. As I enjoyed my breakfast, I could hear more and more of that warm, authentic and happy customer service with every customer. Although I found the food to be delicious and the coffee to be 100% on point, and the view to be spectacular and the locals to be friendly, I would recommend anyone to pay a visit simply for the customer service. What a way to start your day!

The best Gluten Free Hamburger 🍔 my husband has had in 35 years and great value for money.
Coffee was amazing
Good old fashioned service made the experience even better.
Next time we re in Port Macquarie we will make the trip down to Lake Cathie just to have a GF burger.

Awesome vibe in one of Lake Cathies' hot spot locations with great food, good coffee, friendly service and excellent deals and prices. Another fab option for locals, definitely check them out if your driving through or in the area!

If you haven't stopped at Lake Cathie for a Bacon and Egg roll and Campos coffee then time for a change.

How good is this caravan cafe. The coffee is good like liquid gold that reaches she depth of your coffee soul. And the bacon and egg roll with the relish was delicious. So glad I’d stopped and will be stopping again. The staff are ever so friendly which is a classic bonus!

Lovely coffee van in a convenient and beautiful location. The coffee and food is always delicious, consistent and so reasonably priced. The staff are wonderful and always smiling.

Great location and view . Plenty of seating available delicious egg and bacon roll. Friendly service reasonable prices. Great coffee also .We came back on a further two occasions.

We love the coffee, so perfect and hot, yummy toasties, and cool music. The best holiday vibes, and super friendly people. It’s our Lake Cathie favorite spot.

Definitely highly recommend sunshines 10/10 I have driven past this place like a few times but I haven’t really had a chance to stop and try it out just yet. Cute little yellow van with tasty food at good prices and friendly service. Can sit at the offered tables or take a little walk closer to the water. Nice!
