As the other review said it (4.5 / 5 stars), I gave mine as 5. It was great and the reviews did not disappoint. Me and my wife from Singapore enjoyed the egg benedict, sunny side up with toast and bacon. My wife love the handmade bread and said everything was perfect. Highly recommend to stop over (before long drive to Cradle mountain or towards Hobart) for coffee and home made bread, delicious. The staff was friendly and gave us good advice too.

Dropped into the wild fennel cafe on our way between Strahan and Hobart on a Friday. We had a burger with the lot which we cut in half because it was so large. It was absolutely delicious highly recommend the cafe the service was fabulous as well.

Great coffee spot for a stop in between Hobart and Lake St Clair. Warm fire good for a cold day!

My husband and I were on a holiday from interstate & stopped at the Wild Fennel Cafe for a quick brunch as we were passing through. We stayed much longer than we thought (and tried way more treats than we anticipated!). The heirloom tomatoes were locally sourced and absolutely delicious in the omelette (one of the specials). I’d been craving scones all weekend and the cafe’s scones (baked onsite) with jam and cream were the best I’ve had. Feeling an absolute glutton, but not wanting to miss out on tasting more of the treats, my husband and I took a brownie and a melting moment for the road. Amazing. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in Hamilton again!

I ordered a Chicken, Cheese & Onion Toasted sandwich...... Yummy! Omg the bread was to die for. Nice and crunchy one the outside too!
Friendly Service, Clean & comfortable seating area.
Also treated myself and purchased a 30ml deodorant. Smells amazing, I love Fennel 💚

Excellent cafe in a lovely town. They make all their own bread and pastries. I tried an 'experimental' feta and spinach pastry only conceived that morning, fantastic. Top coffee too. Great spot for a stop on a long bike ride.

I actually went here two years ago and was just thinking about this little place reminiscing. Loved it so much thought I'd go back and give them 5 starts. Great food. Excellent service. We got a stuck in Hamilton while bike touring around Tassie when the bush fires hit. This little gem was a life saver.

Absolutely amazing coffee... One of the best I have had in ages. Coupled with scrumptious home made cakes with plenty of gluten free options in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend you stop and enjoy

A must for good food. This chef knows a thing or two about cooking. Caters for vegans and vegetarians. But boasts some rather special pies that sell out quickly for carnivores.

Service and premises are adorable and drenched in history. Toilets available with wheelchair access.
Priced very reasonably and located in Hamilton.
Apparently Hamilton was intended to be Hobart or the capital of Tassie many years ago, hence the amount of beautiful historic buildings.

Coffee is excellent and the sausage roll was the best we have ever had. Over 60 years of age, that's a lot of sausage rolls. Pies also were delicious. Also bought a jar of homemade beetroot and wild fennel sauerkraut.

We stopped by here on the way to Tarraleah and everything we brought was delicious! We got a coffee, coffee milkshake, sausage roll, toastie, pie and slice. Their pastry was better then banjos (that’s saying a lot coming from a banjos lover !!!) It was so yum and if we didn’t fill up we would have brought more for the sake of delicioussness. Highly highly recommend to go here !!!!

Traditional tea room and bakery setting with fresh baked goods and cheerful owners. Excellent place to stop off on the road for a sausage roll and a coffee, or a cost sit down meal if you have longer.

Small tidy place... Everything home made... They were baking pies when we walked in, hence tried a beef curry pie... It was delicious. Cherry ripe slice for dessert was yummy and a Cappuccino to wash it down... 😉 👍 🍻
