Possum Ridge Glamping

We stayed in the tee-pee tent with our 2 kids and it was really lovely. The scenery was amazing. The set up gorgeous. Bathrooms and kitchenette in good condition. A bit cold but tents are subject to weather so we weren't expecting anything different. Would recommend and wound stay again.

We had a terrible experience. Booked for 2 nights and ended up coming home after night 1. No additional facilities for families (play area, pool etc) and cost the same as a site that offers these facilities. It was a very basic set up. Night one, our children were attacked by mozzies that had been in the tent as they had not been sealed properly nor fumigated. Attacked is not really the right word as our children have been horrendously bitten that we have since had to take them to the doctors. The next day was lovely outside and was about 25 degrees. With only a small fan inside for cooling, the tent would have been close to 45 degrees inside. With it being unbearably hot in the tent with no ventilation and the risk of further mozzie bites we decided to leave. I contacted Possum ridge on the same night we returned home and have been left incredibly disappointed not to have even received an acknowledgement of my email. Especially after the additional medical bills sustained and providing evidence of just how bad the mozzie bites were. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.
