My friends and I stayed in one of the new 2-bedroom family cabins on a recent mountain biking trip.
The new cabins are fantastic - clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a shower after a long day on the trails.
They’ve put a load of work into upgrading the amenities in the park recently which made for a great stay.
The management team were incredibly friendly and made us feel super welcome.
We will certainly be back!

This place is a hidden gem!

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom family cabins. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cathy the manager was lovely and so accomodating. (As was little nissan)

The location was great, with the pub right over the road and close to all the things we wanted to see.

We will definitely be back.

Stayed on one of the powered sites in our camper van on our way from Melbourne to Perth and it was a lovely little retreat full of quiet respectful people just trying to get away from the big city!
Amanda who we made our booking with was so lovely and accommodating!
Cathy was so lovely when we asked what time we had to leave (as we've been ushered off sites in the past) she told us to relax, take our time, suggested some walks to go on. Don't understand why there's so many bad reviews when we did not experience any negativity at all.
The amenities were so clean, modern kitchenette, beautiful pressure and temperature in the showers
Backed on to a big farm which was awesome waking up to see all the cows and some calf's!
Would highly recommend, if you're looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet to getaway, and if we do the adventure back to Melbourne one day we would stay here for a few nights!
Thanks for having us :)

Great clean camping grounds with a big range of amenities, from kitchen to undercover area / toilets to the glamping!

Would be great to see the toilet/showers expanded a bit bigger to allow for the extra people that will be staying once all the facilities are in place. And a bigger undercover area/better fly resistant kitchen would be great.

Otherwise the perfect spot to get away and relax.

I had a powered site with water tap. Stayed 3 nights over Anzac weekend, so I was expecting it to be full with Great Ocean road long distance cycling event viewers or friends of cyclists. The cycling event passed smoothly through Forrest with no consequences for this lovely campground which now also has a number of brand new cabins. The brand new camp kitchen sports 2 fridges, 2 ovens, 2 large sinks, array of usable crockery, cutlery, cookware. And heating/cooling conditioner. Had some great chats in the camp kitchen, which has good variety of fresh herbs growing around it free. The laundry has brand new Miele front load washer and [dryer($1/min)]. I love the idea that there are virtually no street lights and the night is actually dark the way nature intended. So torches needed. I hope that doesn’t change. There are fire pits you can hire or byo, and firewood was $25/20kg bag.✅ There’s recycling bins. Showers are continuous hot at no extra cost. All amenities were in lovely clean state. The kookaburras laughed in the distance at early a.m.. It’s only 700 metres from the General store. And the local Opshop was open on Saturday! The country walks are divine, Stevensons Falls is very easy to walk these days even if you need a walker/rollator. And Forrest is the place to be for the freshest air ever. I came home all rosy cheeked. Oxygen sats 100%.Big thank you to the lovely helpful staff.

We had a great weekend. Cathy bent over backwards to ensure we were looked after. As someone who has been staying here for many years I really like the positive changes being made to the park.

We stayed in one of the glamping tents. It was a great weekend getaway. Kathy is a STAR. You can clearly see the hardwork she has put in the property. 10/10 and great value for money! We will be back again.

Had a fabulous stay here in the yurt at Forrest Holiday Park. We came during the winter so we were the only people in the entire park. There is a light for the yurt and a usb charger as well. Showers have hot water, water is potable and kitchen is clean and has everything you need as well! If you go in the winter, be sure to bring your own food as nothing in town is open.

Been to Forrest a couple of times, a bit of works going on at the moment but still love coming here, looks like alot of progress and hope once it's finished there'll be availability to come back. The bikeways are riding well atm. Great pub right at your doorstep across the road.
Cathy is always a treat, works harder than most I've ever met. I hope she stays the heart of Forrest always.

I stayed here during my time completing the Great Ocean Road.
I loved camping at this facility.
The staff were really friendly. They had great facilities including showers, basins and taps with drinking water. The location was absolutely stunning and well maintained.
There is a lovely little store walking distance from the site which has excellent coffee too.

Had a great time here it's no frills but everything you want the park manager is great and it's a great launchpad for the Otways.
It is basic and you will have to take care of yourself. There is a nice pub right across the road and an adorable dog hanging around if you are lucky he will let you pay him. The toilet is cleaner then most and the kitchen is passable I will come back.

We went glamping at Forrest Holiday Park. I am a reluctant camper so I was so pleasantly surprised at how clean and quiet this holiday park was.
