Our car went out of action and ABC Rental were very competitive with their prices, probably the best that we discovered looking around. As we were unsure about how long our car would be unavailable we had to just book car rental in short time frames and to their credit (we dealt with Sam) we would ask for extended periods of rental and Sam would respond in a timely manner and extend rental time with no problem and would do the extension for us automatically saving us the hassle of having to fill in requests again. The car was very comfortable and clean and the process was very simple and easy and to Sam’s credit we were given a discount on the rental after the first completion of the rental agreement for the next couple of rentals, and unexpected as we returned car rental early we were reimbursed some money, so for anyone wanting an easy and affordable rental I would recommend ABC Rentals without a doubt.

Sam is an absolute legend! And all staff we have dealt with have given us great service. This is the 4th time we have hired one of ABC's cars and this time we hired for 47 days, extending a week to 2 wks at a time. Great communication and flexibility. Older vehicle but so reliable and they offer competitive pricing. Any queries are responded to quickly and generally such great service given!! 👍 Would definitely recommend these guys. Lifesavers :)

We hired a Tarago for our 6day stay, travelling from Launceston to Swansea and surrounds. Although our car had a bit of age on her, she didn't miss a beat. A great people mover. Booked for 1 week holiday around Launceston and hobart. Rental car is old but clean, did the job well and for cheap price. I was able to book 2 weeks in advance of trip easily. Sam is very personable , and gave me a lift to airport when i was running late for flight. Thank u. Would book again.

Great value car hire for 11 days, was $800 cheaper than the competitors in Launceston or Hobart. Received a sedan car 2004 Toyota Camry, so no Bluetooth or sat nav but I brought a car vent phone holder along. Just wanted a reliable car so happy to pay the price offered by Sam. There was a 100% Best of 2005 hits CD that was left in the stereo which was almost as good as Spotify

We rent a car from ABC Car Hire and it was a very positive experience. We had an old car which performed very well. We tour Tasmania for twelve days and it was a great adventure. The price of the renting was very good and it allowed us to save money in our trip. We were collected at the airport and then dropped off to the airport. Everything was well planned and organized. The car was very roomy and clean, plenty of space for our luggage and grocery. Thank you for helping us to have such a great journey in Tasmania.

Best car hire service hands down, was picked up and dropped back off to the airport in a matter of minutes and the service was just great. Super affordable cars and they are so reliable and great on fuel , my partner and I went all over tasmania and only filled up twice. Good car rental company. Older cars but at lower cost than other rental agencies. Friendly service and convenient shuttle pick up at Launceston airport. Responsive and easy when we wanted to extend our booking.

Car pickup and drop off was fuss free. Reliable 2004 Toyota Camry took us on an enjoyable round trip in Tasmania for 9 days. Had zero issues with the car.. fuel efficiency was surprisingly better than I expected too. Great at this price!

Overall great experience, well run company, Sam was always great help. The car was reliable and had great air conditioning, Sam even dropped us back to the transit department for our journey back to Hobart.
