We unfortunately started off with an unforeseen mechanical hiccup with our first Campervan however Andrew and his team worked extremely hard and did absolutely everything they could and provided us with another Campervan within a few hours so we continue/ start our family holiday, even providing us another vehicle to use whilst we waited for the new Campervan to be ready so we didn’t miss out on any of our holiday activities. The vehicle itself was clean and in excellent working order and was extremely easy to use for a first time user of Campervans. I could not recommend and thank Andrew and his Team at AutoRent Launceston enough.

Very pleasant and helpful team.the van was clean and all as expected. Unfortunately there was no plug for the sink and after returning to pick one up we found it still was inadequate. That said they are a professional organisation and great to deal with. I will be back.

Probably the best campervan rental I've ever booked with! It's a bit pricey but might be just because of the remote location (comparing with the mainland). Communication was prompt, vehicle was in excellent condition, all clean (vehicle and kitchenette, incl. all utensils, bed linen). All well prepared for our pick up, which was done in a matter of minutes, the same for drop off (no waiting time). For my next trip to Tassie, I'll go with autorent again!

Smooth collection and responsive to answer my enquiries during my journey. The premium motorhome is in very good condition. Highly recommended.

We rented a 4 berth camper van off them, the van was perfect, clean and new. The staff at Hobart and Launceston were truly amazing best customer service I have ever recieved. These people went above and beyond to accomodate us. Very happy customer I will be telling everyone about our experience & holiday and how they made it even more amazing.

I can not speak more highly of the team at AutoRent Hertz Launceston & Hobart Airports. I landed late with my children and the gentlemen at the counter in Hobart so so welcoming and engaging with my kids. The business called me before the rental date (Premium Motor home) and ran through every ting over the phone. As I wasn't confident (first time driving a motor home) they agreed to show me through the next day too. they went above and beyond. The camper was fantastic. So easy to drive, so comfortable. It literally had EVERYTHING I needed. When we dropped off the motor home at Launceston airport, it was super early so they helped us make arrangements to make is as easy and comfortable as possible it was cold and I had the kids with me. Thanks again for an amazing trip. I will be using these guys again.

From my experience hiring a camper wagon for 12 days from Autorent they’re reliable, helpful, honest and thoughtful. The van was very well designed with everything I needed except perhaps a water container; the bedding extremely comfortable (and they even put the doona cover on before I collected it — making my first night’s set up much easier!) When I mistakenly thought I had a fuel leak they arranged for it to go up on a hoist when I passed another depot, at no cost. Deposit was refunded promptly and there was no problem with my Visa Debit card, unlike some car rental agencies. All up a great experience.
Lastly, if you’re hiring a camper I’d recommend the app WikiCamps to find all the possible camping sites.

We rent our motorhome with them and the customer service was awesome Andrew give us some tips to drive around tasmania and visit some places. The motorhome was almost like new, the beds were so comfy and with the necessary to be around (we were impressed, the only thing we couldn't use was the shower because the water was to cold and the weather was freezing, but most of the places were we park had showers so we didn't suffer at all.

Honestly perfect. We rented the smallest option with the rooftop tent and it came with absolutely everything you would need. Super thoughtfully designed and the people that work there are so welcoming and friendly. Everything was spotless, functional and awesome quality.

Picked up our deluxe motorhome in hobart and had a great time. Motorhome was practically brand new and very clean. Professional company to deal with. Would highly recommend. Perfect for a family of 4

Easy rental process and good value!

We have rented a van from this company every year for the last four. This year however the prices have jumped by approximately 300%. Hard not to see that as dishonest gouging.
