Hub cafe

We’re doing short scenic drive again in Tassie and dropped in hoping it would be nice.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Food was really tasty. We had the beef burger and jacket potato. The burger was great! Loved the flavour, especially the chutney! It came with chips which were crisp and delightful.
The jacket potato was delicious!!! Large serving and lots of flavour.
The cafe was immaculately clean, the staff cleared away previous customers tables quickly.
Coffee and tea … excellent!
It had typical cafe noise but no complaints.
Highly recommended.

I could not recommend this place enough, so calm, workers were so lovely and we're raising money for another local business. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be coming back ☺

We were having a long day of traveling & stumbled on this cafe by chance. It was perfect! We enjoyed quiche, chips & salad, a toasted sandwich & brownie to share! Coffee was great! & the service warm & welcoming! I would recommend!

Great staff, great fare, and buzzing with locals and visitors alike. A little slice of big town food heaven in a small town down-to earth cafe. Fantastic double egg and crispy bacon perfection with luscious chutney in a Turkish B.E.L.T had me at first bite. And, Ruth's warm smile and super cold original style milkshakes (served in the silver mixer- yay!) will definitely bring all the boyz to the yard... made by a milk conisseur for a milk conisseur... best milkshake I've had in years. It's a fine and rare art these days. Only bummer was they were closed on the Sunday so couldn't get a second one before I left.... I'll be back someday and I hope Ruth's still there 🙏

I use to know it as "Andy's" which was awesome place, ' The Hub Café ' is just as great, just not 24/7. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was hard to choose from. The Blueberry Burlee Cheesecake was heaven, the Jaffa cake a little dry but had the flavours. You need to check it out if you want friendly, great customer service too

The best benedic eggs I ever had! The hollandaise sauce is awesome! Coffee and milkshake is good too! Staffs are very nice! Clean and bright inside of restaurant! Will be back one day!

Gorgeous cafe, nice staff, raising money for other community businesses, and maybe the best smashed avo I've ever had. A worthy stop for a filling brekkie

Great place for a quick bite!
I had the Quiche, chips & salad, all delicious. The salad was full size and nice variety of ingredients, best salad I've had for ages! Quiche was tasty and just the right size. Thick cut chips cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, good experience all round.

What a surprising find. Jacket potato was delicious. Wedges were cooked to perfection. Great service, food, lovely decor and well priced. On a day trip to Launceston with so many places closed on a Tuesday this was a great place to rock up to.

Great breakfast with generous portions, good array of pastries and deserts complemented by friendly service. Well worth a stop in if you’re looking for a bite to eat.

An unexpected gem between Launceston and Deloraine.
A small menu but well thought out - and even a couple of kids options.
The food was served promptly, but not before the drinks which were made to perfection - milkshakes and coffees did not disappoint.
The food itself was fresh, delicious and very generous portions.
I would definitely recommend a stop here on your way west from Launceston.
