Westbury Hotel

Ten of our family enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Westbury Hotel today.
The meals were quite large, beautifully presented and hot and all delivered together. The chef deserves a great big thank you and his bar staff are a credit to the establishment. Will definitely return soon. Thank you

Nice hotel. Very clean and tidy. Enjoyed our meals. Hubby had half serve of seafood chowder and I enjoyed a half serve of bear battered fish with chips and salad

Great food and service! Nice selection of beers and wines, and awesome lunch menu, and specials (Weds-Fri), Happy Hour and Raffles Friday. Always a top spot for lunch & dinner (or Tea, if you're from VIC or SA). The W'bury is the best!

Superb food at pub prices really friendly staff and ease. Scallops wrapped in bacon was heaven scallops. In programmes, a real test manual scallops. Cheesy bread was really nice and cheesy.

We dropped in here today for lunch and we're so glad we did! The $15 Sunday roast was so good! Huge serving, delicious pork, crackling, vegies & gravy AND a Yorkshire pudding too!! The apple crumble was delicious too and also a huge serving!
Staff were very friendly too. We'll definitely be back :)

Food and service was both excellent. I had beef cheeks and my partner had the fish and chips with a beer for $20. Both were excellent. Heaps of locals in ordering food as well and every plate that went past looked great. You’ll enjoy your meal here no matter what you choose.

What a great Pub, meals excellent, $15 for a Sunday Roast which was amazing. As for the bar staff and locals a big Thank you for making our visit wonderful, and so dog friendly. Definitely will be back

Have had multiple meals here and quality is always exceptional. Highly recommend, friendly service and delicious food - for a real wow the seafood chowder and lamb shanks are always a winner if you can’t choose.

Delicious food and friendly service. The roasted root vegetable soup was the best. My family had the chicken schnitzel and thoroughly enjoyed it. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise as it looks old inside and out.

Our lunch was a tasty small serve of crumbed scallops. There were a large group of us ( vintage bike club annual lunch) the meals were amazing in presentation and delivered within a small time frame. The staff were friendly and very efficient.

Little bit of a wait for the food but its well worth it. Steak was tender, chicken burger special was tasty and the mixed grill was all cleaned off the plate. All meals were very generously portioned and staff were efficient and kept the dining area well cleaned

Just had lovely meal of scallops and chips and salad with husband and visiting sister from Queensland. $15 meal.

James & Sandra have been looking after us constantly over the last couple of weeks after spending late nights getting ready for Westbury Show. The meals have been spot on, the Chowder one of the best I've eaten and the Caesar Salad authentic and huge. We as a group have not had a bad meal and the menu caters for everyone. YUM! James, thanks for your generosity of spirit and commitment to the Westbury community. RJ's is our go to for quality meals.

A small dining area, however the atmosphere is good, the pub meals are well priced and taste great, and the dessert range while small is outstandingly good. Most of the desserts are hand made, the serving size is ridiculous and the quality surpasses that of most of the desserts of critically acclaimed restaurants in Launceston. One of the best pub meals I've had in Tasmania.

Called in today for the first time excellent staff friendly and helpful,great meal very tasty and fair pricing will be back.we had our dog with us and sat outside really lovely, even gave him a treat
