The Boathouse Cafe

This was my first time for lunch at the Boathouse cafe, and I was not disappointed. I came as part of a group for my mums 83rd birthday. All of us agreed meals were a good size. . Great views of our lovely Manning River were enjoyed. Staff friendly. Do recommend, and will come again.

Had a great brunch here on Saturday. The food was flawless. It was a very busy morning, and I didn't receive the right coffee I ordered that was left at our table for me. Other than that, I would recommend this venue. Great views. New venue. A reputable chef. Some more car parks that aren't designated for trailer parking is needed too.

You will be looked after by the happiest friendliest staff while eating amazingly delicious food with beautiful views of the manning river! It’s a must visit for all locals and travellers 10/10

Great venue overlooking the river and spacious dining area. Service was excellent with no delays. The food was exceptional for the price and the servings generous. Would not hesitate recommending and we will be back. Taree has needed a venue like this for so long!

The Boathouse Cafe catered for an event for me recently. The food was incredible, the guests could not believe how yummy the cakes were and the salads provided were five star. Catering for all dietary needs and we had a few. Wonderful customer service too.

We had an absolutely amazing time here, great food, amazing coffee & incredible staff. Stunning view of the water from inside & out. Wheelchair accessibility via an elevator really impressed me as my sister is in a wheelchair so she was able to join us!! 11/10 if you’re in Taree this is the place be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve not had a single dish I didn’t like when visiting here, and I go back regularly for their famous vanilla slice! Got to be one of the best but you’ve got to get in early as they sell out for obvious reasons. The views of the river is such a bonus to the experience.

Today I had the most beautiful Barramundi and Salad. Perfectly cooked. The service was amazing, all the staff so friendly and accommodating. Our coffee was great too! 😊

This place is amazing can’t recommend it enough. Food was delicious, service was professional and welcoming and the atmosphere speaks for itself overlooking the river what a way to enjoy a meal. What a great experience I’ll definitely be back.

What an absolute beauty of a spot! Looking over our beautiful manning river nice breeze flowing through the cafe amazing food and amazing friends group of stuff!

I just needed to write a review on a place l found l never bother normally but this place l really liked ,in Taree in NSW a place called the Boathouse cafe ,l had an amazing meal it was called a Land an Sea Turish yum 😋 it was amazing an the staff where very friendly an very attentive making sure l had everything l needed even asked if l was comfortable where l was sitting l found it very relaxing an a stunning views just perfect to meet friends or family . Oh an the vanilla slices have to be the biggest l have ever seen they were delicious, well worth every cent l be returning for another feast 😋

We had plans to experience the experience after asking some FB pages where to get the best Vanilla slice around Forster Tuncurry. Well a few people recommend this remarkable business, with their amazing staff. The owner was present, making our planned trip worth the effort by sending us off with the targeted "Neapolitan" slice. We went for the slice and stayed for the amazing brunch.

Really nice food and friendly staff. They have a huge range of desserts that taste as good as they look. The coffee was really good too.

Location overlooking the mighty Manning River is amazing with the sun rising. Service was prompt, inviting, and personable. The coffee was fantastic and the food was a delight. Time from ordering to delivery was quick. Portion size was on the larger end and the prices were great. I'll be back

Best view in town with a wide range of dishes that won't leave you hungry. Staff are always there to help.
My family and friends will definitely book again to guarantee us a table.
