The Dragon Bakery

Dragon Bakery is a definite destination when you fancy a good coffee or a delicious cake. This bakery goes the extra yards to deliver some superb cakes, pies and freshly made snacks that will make you want to go back for more. Conveniently situated on Portobello Road, opposite the Woolworths shopping complex, it has a little outdoor sitting area and plenty of parking opposite. Sometimes they are busy and you may have to wait a short while, but service is always given with a smile. They have a fine selection of popular cakes and some very traditional favourites, and they use real cream! I go there and have a matchstick and always eat it outside because it’s a delicious combination of sticky jam, fluffy cream, and lots of crumbs😃

Awesome bakery , everything is fresh and tastes great.
Friendly staff , very keen to help and make suggestions of new items on the menu.
Prices are resonable , cant fault the place , i pop in to buy a pie or a smoosa whenever i can.

We visited because they were the only bakery we could find open on our route. I ordered a pie and was caught off guard when I was asked if I wanted “regular” or “deep fried”. I was curious so I bought one of each and boy am I glad I did, the deep fried pie was amazing and it wasn’t oily at all, the batter is light and delicious. We also ordered a coffee and custard horn, both were fantastic. The staff are all great and the owner is super friendly, we had a great chat about his journey to perfect the deep fried pies.

I’d also like to add how great it is to still have reasonably priced businesses that don’t charge silly public holiday surcharges and eftpos fees.

On par with Dardanup Bakery - and that's saying something! Super fresh pastries, creams and pies. Very impressive.

Really great bakery. Wanted to buy something to bring to an afternoon tea at a friend's so was debating a cake and the lady at the counter brought out a mini version for me to try a piece to see if I liked it, cool idea! Also got a few cupcakes and they were delicious. So great service and tasty bakery treats :)

One of the best bakeries I have been to since New Zealand. Good bakeries are hard to come by but this one is a gem.

Amazing choice of Bakery goods, Pies, Sausage Rolls & Pastries.
Hubby loved his deep fried Chicken & Vege pie.

Absolutely lovely service. Beautiful eclairs. Loved the donut with cream, custard and apple. Highly recommend. Lovely to see more small businesses in Dalyellup.

Had a good selection of sausage rolls and sweets that were all delicious! Great Vietnamese coffee too! Will definitely be back!
