Story House Early Learning Doreen

In only a month we have noticed a drastic difference in our daughters development and behaviour. She LOVES attending StoryHouse and never wants to leave, the staff and management are so lovely and friendly and welcomed us in with open arms. Any issue or concern we have is addressed immediately and the communication is simply incredible. Our only regret is not starting sooner, StoryHouse will always hold a special place in our hearts! Thank you isn't enough!

Story house Doreen is a great place. My daughter loves the big backyard the nose, plus all educators are very helpful. My daughter is a picky eater, her room Educators are all very encouraging her to try different food.

When our daughter has some of her little issues, we like the way that we could discuss with Educators transparently and find a better solution to resolve it.

Story house early learning Doreen is a wonderful centre, I feel comfortable leaving my little one because I know I've left him in good hands. The communication with all the teachers is impeccable. We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend the centre to anyone that asks from our area.

My boys started at SHEL in Doreen in July 2022. They have both gone from strength to the strength and have absolutely thrived. The educators are brilliant with all the children and are so kind and caring. The centre was newly built in our area so it is modern and has a outdoor play area for the kids. Our kids and family have all benefited from Story House Early Learning Doreen. Thank you to Renee and all of the lovely staff :)

Story House Early Learning Doreen is the best childcare centre, the facility is new and very clean. Management team Renee & Mina are an absolute pleasure to deal with and the educators are all fantastic and will most definitely take the best care of all the babies and children. Our son Chad loves going to childcare and is developing each and every day.

We are very happy with our child going to Story House Learning Doreen. It's such a welcoming and warm atmosphere including all staff and teachers. Nice plays space and good nutritious menu as well.

My kids attend Story House Doreen and the staff are amazing. My baby is 1yrs old and has been attending since 4mths old. The level of care the staff have shown towards them has been incredible. The centre and staff also makes my kids feel culturally safe and supported and they feel proud to express their cultural identity.

Cannot recommend Renee and her squad enough! I'm so glad we made the decision to move from Maples to SHD, it has honestly been a godsend!

The teachers genuinely listen and care enough to work with you to ensure your child is receiving the best support to help them grow. Communication is 1000000% up there! And they're all so lovely and patient and they never make me feel like I'm overreacting or a "crazy mum" at all! When I drop my daughter off, I leave feeling confident that she'll have a great day. She started at SHD back in Jan 2022 when she was only 6 months old and they made that transition so easy!

Also, the play areas are amazing! If you haven't yet, you have to check out their playground for the older children! They also provide a wide range of food for your kids and put out amazing vegan options for mine so my kids don't feel left out especially during Easter!

We definitely don't regret making the move! Am absolutely grateful for Renee and her team

Its an awesome and the best place for the kids to start their early learning journey where they can have fun, loving, caring and healthy environment. The management and staff are very supportive. They work together as a team to provide the best possible experience and learning environment for each and every child. I strongly recommend this place.

Story Early Learning Doreen has been such a wonderful first childcare for my daughter! The staff have been incredible with communication and keeping us updated with what is going on and even sending through photos! We’ve had such a positive experience so far and am sure will continue to! Our daughter loves attending and is excited to go and play with the other kids and all the toys! We have been very happy with story house for the last past year.
The educators are on top of everything.
Renee has brought the place to life and makes sure everything runs smooth.
My daughter Evelyn is deaf and they have been amazing with learning about her cochlears and making sure they are on and working.
My other daughter Chloe was so shy when she 1st started, since being at story househas come right out of her shell.

My 11 month old daughter has been attending the Storyhouse Early Learning in Doreen since January 2022 and I have one word to describe the center…..incredible!! The educators in the nursery go above and beyond to ensure my daughter is loved and nurtured throughout the day! The educators have such a strong bond with my daughter despite her only attending the center for four months and this is reflected in her daily squeals and smiles when we arrive at the door!

My daughter loves attending the center four-days per week and everyday without fail I am greeted with a smile (and a chat) by a friendly educator each day which makes the center have a real family feel to it.

The center is brand new with it only being one year old which means all the facilities and educational toys are brand new or barely used! The Director, Renee has brought a warm family vibe to the center and she legitimately seems to know each and every child’s name as well as their educational needs!! Plus she is so easy to chat to about anything and everything!

The biggest positive for me is the great communication that I have experienced between the nursery educators and myself relating to the health and development of my daughter!

Being a first time mum experiencing childcare for the first time, the whole transitional period was seamless and I was given the opportunity to attend as many orientation sessions as I felt my daughter needed.

Overall, Renee and her team of fantastic educators go above and beyond for our little people and I am forever grateful. Do yourself a favour and book a tour of this caring, family centric center!

Story house is such a warm, welcoming and friendly centre. My boys came from another centre and naturally I was apprehensive moving them, but within a short time, I knew I made the right decision. The educators are amazing and have gone above and beyond to help the boys settle in. My only regret was not moving them sooner. Thanks Renee and team, we couldn’t be happier 😊

Took our son out of a different centre due to poor staffing/communication/son being bullied and signed up with Storyhouse Doreen.

From the minute we met Mina at the front office and her approach towards our son we knew it was the place for us.

Cindy is amazing in the 3 year old room too and is one of the reasons we decided to do another year in the 3 yr old room after our son made the transfer late in the last year. Shes super organised/patient and has an ability with children that can't be taught.

Renee has also been really helpfull especially with administrative decisions.

Above all the most impprtant thing is our son is coming home happy each night and excited to go in each morning.

Such a beautiful centre. Changed my kids to story house a few months ago and wished I did it sooner. The centre is clean and new and the teachers are very attentive and welcoming. My kids love going every week and I always know what they are doing.
The educators are very good and knowledgeable. They like to work with us and help achieve regular goals that we set in place for they’re education and learning.

Over all a wonderful centre, will be sad to leave when the time comes.

After being with Doreen Story House Early Learning for two years, I have great confidence in this childcare. Firstly, they have a real great management team, who dedicate their energy and time to make sure everything is organised for the staff as well as for the families. They are always approchable and show a caring heart. They make you feel reassured when circumstances change. Secondly, I am very happy with their educators. They are all very nice, caring and professional! I feel reassured handing my children to them. I am very impressed with the recruiting team, how they choose the most suitable people for their jobs.

<>After visiting several childcare centres, I had no doubt that this is the childcare centre for my son. My son has been attending the nursery since he was 10 months old. What I love the most about this childcare centre is that educators and staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with. They help me to be at ease about my child being out of my hands at a young age. Also, I see that educators constantly think of a better way to do things. They have a wide range of toys. We have been at SHEL Doreen since opening and we absolutely love it. I was very anxious transitioning my daughter to a new daycare due to moving but the staff and educators were amazing and made the transition really easy. My daughters educators are phenomenal, very informative, caring and have built a real relationship with my daughter.

Amazing staff! Our daughter didn’t like going when she first started, but within a few weeks she was waving goodbye to us as we dropped her off. They have lots of hands on activities for the kids, and the staff regularly update parents on what’s happening in the classroom

The staff have been amazing helping us to all adjust and settle in, at first it was hard for our little one but with routine and consistency it’s been great. The facilities are great, there’s lots to do and it’s clean, fun and engaging. It’s been about 9 months now and our little one is growing and learning so much and we couldn’t be happier. Again the staff and facilities are great.

Amazing daycare for my kids! They have a lovely time and big difference from previous daycare.
