Wonderful owners at the ideal location to explore this beautiful Tasman peninsula. Happy to help arrange tours. Also sell home canned goods as well as wines. They make fresh bread every morning for breakfast. Definitely recommend this location to all travelers.

Warm hospitality of a small B&B accommodation, an historical building, antique furniture, a cozy common room with a library and a fireplace - all this makes for a pleasant stay. We booked just one night and when we left next morning I did it with some regret. Usually I treated travel accommodation just as a place to spend a night. Convict Station was different - I would gladly stay there for a few days enjoying the atmosphere of that hospitable guest house and indulging in dolce far niente - just reading books, walking around and fishing.

Lynton does an amazing job with the upkeep on this very historical building, has a lovely touch of the past feel and he's full of knowledge don't be afraid to ask of some stories. Lovely yard to walk and also a jetty across the road to watch some of south Eastern Tasmania's best sunsets from

The hosts welcome you and explain some of the history of the place. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast is fantastic.

Im Oktober 2012 starteten wir zu zweit eine Tasmanien-Rundtour und landeten gleich am ersten Abend in der alten Station, die als B&B umgenutzt und liebevoll ausgestaltet kaum Wünsche offen läßt.
Individuell eingerichtete Zimmer, Salon mit Kamin, selbstgemachte Speisen (Brot, Marmeladen usw.) sowie die großen Herzen der Gastgeber ließen die Zeit in Tarenna schnell vergehen... Hinzu kommt, dass Ziele wie Tasman Devil Sanctuary, Cape Raoul, Port Arthur und Devils Kitchen innerhalb kurzer Zeit erreichbar sind.
All in all: Test the rest!
