Alonnah Sheepwash Bay Track

This is a well-groomed path, about 2 miles long. Base is mostly dirt and pine needles with a little bit of gravel. I ran up the roads and came back on the trail southbound, which allows you to see both the water and the greenery. The trail is a lot flatter than the roads, by the way.

Short and sweet, reminds me of Wellington and surroundings in NZ

A nice short walk following the shoreline. Plenty of parking, and toilets at the Pontoon Road end.Wide easy path to follow and with a couple of places to stop and enjoy the views. Lots of birdlife, and an echidna.The end was a bit of a disappointment, as there didn't appear to be a track down to the beach where the creek appeared to be, otherwise an enjoyable little walk.

A pleasant little walk for something to do in Alonnah. The track is easy to walk and follows the coastline. Benches and tables are spaced along the track. We loved watching the sunset over the marina and got a friendly wave from a local.

The sign said it would have been an hour return if we’d walked the full path.
