Great little campsite right near the water. We went in mid-July and there was only a few other campers around. Campfires are allowed (outside of fire danger season/Fire ban days) and there is a toilet on site. If you're lucky a furry little local may even come and warm themselves by the fire too! Highly recommended spot.

$10 is a great deal for a rather tightly packed campsite on the beach.

A nice and quiet campsite run by Parks Tas, with beach access. The sites are first come, first served and you will need $10 cash for the self-registration deposit box. The drop toilets are well-maintained but there aren’t sinks for hand washing. There is a tap to collect water for your camp though. Fires are permitted - we found some firewood down the road at Adventure Bay.

Busy because it's cheap, beautiful beach and central to both ends of the island

Great camping spot with minimal but very well maintained/clean facilities (picnic area and toilets). Great beach access too!

Gorgeous location. Campsites are generously spaced but filled up quickly during high season, get there early to guarantee a spot. Each night is $10 cash. The long drop toilet was clean enough and there were day picnic benches under cover.

Right next to the beautiful beach, many camp sites, clean long drop toilet this campsite is recommended for all sorts of campers. Ultra large caravans may be hard to get into the site if you're not confident but there were plenty of caravans, vans, tents and swags across the site over the Aus day long weekend. We'll be going back there!

Quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to the beach. Clean toilets. Water available. Easily accessible.

Lovely quiet camp ground (probably due to covid). Heaps of space and you are allowed to have a camp fire. Short stroll to the big neck beach. You could walk all the way to Bligh's Rocks and the arch if you have all day (probably a 10km walk one way). On the other end are tessalated rocks (probably 5km). The neck lookout and penguin brookery is about 2.5km up the beach.
There is a water fill up station just for small containers, make sure to boil the water first before consuming.

So far my favourite campsite on Bruny, close to the beach, contained private sites and two toilet blocks. Well worth it!

Nice site, clean toilets and right on a beautiful east facing beach (great for sunrise). There is running water on the site, which they recommend boiling, but no BBQ, bins or washing up facilities. Best grocery shopping is in Adventure Bay which is 10 minutes in the car.

Great camping. There isn't anyone there but there is a box where you can leave the money. It was just $10! The camping is big and roomy and is in front of the beach. Furthermore, there is a clean toilet! The bad point is that it hasn't showers!

Great camping spot. Lots of space. Only 10 bucks (cash only). Sound of the waves at night. Road can be quite noisy during the day.

Such a quiet clean area to camp. You go off to sleep listening to the ocean.

Awesome location - especially at $10 a night (bring cash). Toilets available. Literally meters from the beach and a great base to explore the island. A few sites are gebtly sloped, so get in early or have some levelling blocks handy.

Beautiful sandy sunny lovely beach. Not too crowded generally but the beach goes for kilometres so if you want privacy it's easy to walk away from any other people. Camping areas are limited so arrive early. Very clean and tidy. Good, clean, and not smelly drop toilets (2 separate blocks). The fee is low but you do need a Tasmania Parks Pass on top of the nightly fee. No power for RVs.

Fantastic sandy camp ground right on the beach. The running water was a blessing and we found the location perfectly positioned for exploring the island. Spent 3 days there across Christmas and found it to have ample space between sites so as not to feel to overrun. Open fires are permitted but there is no fire pits to speak of
