Forgan Picnic Area

It's a nice picnic area with beautiful lakes with quiet atmosphere including plenty of car parking, BBQ plates, and toilet facilities. The only problem there is no tap water near BBQ area.
You can enjoy the beauty of lakes, birds 🐦 life, some insects activities. It's around 45 min drive from indoorpilly.
You can also explore the dam and surrounding areas

Beautiful spot. Quiet. Lots of families on Anzac day holiday. Nice place to bbq. No water to wash and clean other than water from toilets

Such a pleasant surprise! I had no idea this place was here and driving to another place, Forgan Park came up as a suggestion. Very clean and peaceful. Amazing for a picnic, stand up paddle, lots of people fishing. I can definitely recommend to come by yourself, with family and friends. Great place!

Great area to have a barbecue or just relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Beautiful and quiet place. Clean amenities. Playground for kids and a few bbqs through the area.

It's one of our favourite places to visit.

There's many tables and gas BBQs, very clean toilets and a small playground.

I do wish people would adhere to SEQwater rules; no domestic animals. Every weekend we're there and there are people walking their dogs, having BBQ s with their dogs, some on leads, some not. The signs are everywhere stating DOMESTIC ANIMALS NOT ALLOWED.

What a gorgeous quiet spot to enjoy some dinner. Beautiful view of the lake.

Very well looked after area, because of no domestic animals allowed the place is immaculate. Beautiful outdoor for a picnic.

Good place too cuddle and have some cheese with my girlfriend, but my she's taken, so you'll have to find someone else.
