Springbrook Mountain Chalets

took my partner visiting from his home country here and im so glad we did!! we had an amazing few days playing with the birds, going hiking and enjoying the seclusion. it’s a nice area away from the busyness of the world. we barely even noticed there was no reception!
paul and sharron were so kind and attentive to us when we needed it and i can’t begin to praise them enough! their attentiveness and care really reflects into the chalets as well, this was cleaner than majority of hotels i have stayed in. the bed was comfortable, the area is spacious and the hot tub was also a nice touch :-)
as stated there isn’t any reception but the TV has all local channels, the kitchen is more than equipped as we took time to experiment with different meals and there’s so much nature to see!
im so surprised by how cheap this place is for what you get in return and couldn’t recommend this place more.

Amazing location, so beautiful
The chalet was set up perfectly with absolutely everything needed, remembering that u must bring all food and drinks basically for your stay as it's a bit of a trip to the closest shopping centre or restaurant. There are a few lovely cafes open during the day close by though. So many fantastic bush walks, waterfalls and scenery very close by. Chalet itself was stunning. Owner was helpful and polite, no issues there, plenty of fire wood available and provided. Decent phone reception with optus. So many really beautiful birds. Definitely recommend

We had a fantastic weekend in Springbrook and stayed in the Springbrook Mountain Chalets which were absolutely wonderful. They have everything you need, John and Sharron have thought of everything! Beautiful location, we fed the birds in the morning with the bird feed provider (wonderful experience). The bed was so comfortable, up on the top floor and woke up to the nicest views of the trees and even had some birds knock our window to wake us up lol Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, honestly 10/10 for everything!

Amazingly beautiful natural spot nestled amongst the forest. Secluded chalets, friendly people, and an easy drive from the Gold Coast. There are walks nearby and the forest is spectacular. Loved it. The current owners have had this place for the past 4 years and are doing a great job, and are extremely friendly and helpful. Firewood was provided (and stocked-up when we arrived) and the house was clean and tidy. The cute little fairy garden and shared BBQ area by reception with fairy-lights is also lovely. No mobile reception (vodafone) nor shops nearby, but we were well prepared as they had emailed us with all the info prior. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook your own meals. Great spot, highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay in the hinterland, hidden amongst the trees. A fireplace to keep you toasty warm, a big hot tub to relax after exploring the many hiking tracks around the area. Sit on the balcony and watch the many birds that inhabit the bush land. I can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful chalets and absolute top tier service from the caretakers. Paul went above and beyond during our most recent trip. I made a mistake on our initial booking and Paul was happy to help me fix it with no stress whatsoever. When we arrived, he made us feel welcome to be back and then saved our holiday by coming to our aid when my car battery decided it was a good time to stop working. We are so grateful that Paul was willing to drop everything to help us in our time of need and we will most certainly continue to visit this gorgeous place of the world! Hi Paul! Our stay was great and our cabin was comfortable with all the basics provided. Your customer service was awesome and the environment was outstanding! Thanks for your help with my lost property. Our only observations would be our bedroom loft was great with the fire on but beware it can get very cold (it was the middle of winter though). The bathroom in the early morning was very cold so maybe a heat lamp would make a difference. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful location, staff were so friendly. Chalet was so cosy. Bed was the only let down, it was so uncomfortable. Everything else was just amazing.

A great escape, option to light the indoor fireplace and soak in your private spa. No reason to leave as the chalet has a fully equipped kitchen and provides you everything you need to prepare your favourite meals. Loved the location, completely surrounded by beautiful wildlife and you literally wake up in the middle of a forest! Great facilities and lovely experience all round. A rejuvenating stay!

The chalet was well furnished with utensils. There's no internet access, making it the perfect place for a retreat. Highly recommended. Just make sure you plan your meals before heading up.

This really is a special place. Paul and Sharon were very helpful and the room was clean with many extras to make the stay comfortable and like home away from home. Paul did well to keep up with the timber we used in that amazing wood fire. The spa was a winner also

Stayed in chalet 4 and I can quite certainly say it was the best sleep I've had in a while. Very clean and comfortable, not to mention private and romantic. The place itself was gorgeous, with amazing staff who were always happy to help. The bed was comfortable and very warm due to the provided heaters, the fireplace kept the place warm (and romantic) and all other amenities were as described and perfectly adequate. As long as you bring you own food and some warm clothes you will have an amazing experience. The waterfalls a short drive away, as well as cafes and other attractions are also wonderful.

My husband and I stayed in Cabin #2 & our stay could not have been more perfect. The cabin was spotlessly clean & fresh. Fully self contained with little extras. We fed the king parrots from our patio every afternoon with the complimentary bird food. Owners are very kind and accommodating.

Beautiful chalets, well looked after. Great kitchen facilities with oven, stove, large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Hot tub downstairs was relaxing with a few different settings.
Bed was comfy, lots of movies to choose from. Games to play & books to read. Loved being surrounded by wildlife & the fire was awesome even though it took a few attempts to get it going.

The location was amazing amongst beautiful trees and great bird life. Very quiet and peaceful. Paul and Sharon the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The chalets were clean and cosy. Loved the fire and spa pool. Will be back again.

The hot tub was amazing, one of the reasons we picked that chalet. Perfect settings in the rainforest due to the rain causing mist. Great time to just stay inside and enjoy each other. Beautiful up so high and there was no reason to leave, as we bought food before arriving.

My partner and I really loved the time we spent here. Our host was lovely and had plenty of firewood ready for us and had even loaded the fire place up, ready to go.
Beautiful area, very romantic. Have been recommending to all our friends and would have stayed again this weekend if it wasn’t already booked out.

I had an issue where I was unable to come stay at the Chalet due to the recent border issues. The gentleman from the Chalet made it very easy to cancel the booking given the circumstances.

Now it's made me excited to re-book my getaway to the Springbrook Chalet as soon as possible. I'm really excited!

I had booked the place based on reviews from friends and family; they highly recommend the place based on the customer service, cleanliness, location and atmosphere.

Springbrook Mountain Chalets is absolutely gorgeous, highly recommend. We postponed our wedding this year due to COVID-19, but decided to elope at the place where we were honeymooning (i.e. the Chalets). Paul and Sharron were incredible with accommodating our unusual request to have a tiny wedding ceremony onsite, and they made sure we had everything to create a perfect experience (even to the point of clearing the BBQ area for us to use as a ceremony space!). Long story short it was absolutely perfect, and we stayed in Chalet #5 for our honeymoon. The chalet is beautiful and spacious, the hot tub is fantastic, the surrounds are so tranquil - we just had such a great time. Thank you Paul and Sharron for being so amazing. We'll be back!

We stayed at Springbrook Mountain Chalets for our wedding night in April and it could not have been more perfect!! Beautiful timber chalet tucked away in the rainforest, with a fireplace and a hot tub, it was so romantic! And Marina was so helpful and lovely to deal with. Would definitely recommend!
