Doomben Ridge

We absolutely loved staying in this cozy country home surrounded by beautiful green scenery and friendly farm animals.
Our kids loved meeting the horses. It was a perfect place for us to unwind and we loved sitting around the firepit under the stars.

This quaint hilltop stay was just perfect for us over the few nights we stayed. The early morning bird calls, chooks clucking and horses in nearby paddocks grazing all set the scene and wonderful ambiance for us. We will be back for sure, hopefully with the grandkids next time. The house is clean and beds are comfortable, we took some amazing photos at the backyard with the beautiful view. We can't recommand Doomben Ridge enough for a family weekend. The place is only 20 mins from Binna Burra which we went for a hike after checkout. Thank you Rob and Chrissy :)

What a great spot!! The Hosts live on the property and are very friendly, but also leave you alone to enjoy the area. The house is VERY well equipped, including the pantry. Sitting on the verandah or the new deck, with a drink and a companion is a great way to watch the sunset fall over the valley. Negotiating the driveway and carport can be tricky for Big cars, but it is all concreted so no problems if it is wet. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and left way more relaxed than when we arrived.

Cozy country house with everything that you need to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable. The hosts have thought of everything, and we all really loved sitting around the fireplace inside on the cooler nights and loved the country feel of the farm animals that came to greet us in the mornings. The house was only a few minute's drive to our wedding venue at Beechmont Hall and we all said we would all stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Rob and Crissy. All the horsey girls

Absolutely beautiful experience here. Rob and Chrissy are amazing, friendly and happy to have a chat or leave you to your own devices. The guest is beautifully decorated, clean, tidy and has an amazing atmosphere. Board games, Netflix, fireplace inside, fireplace outside looking out over the amazing scenery and all the amenities you can ask for including complimentary marshmallows, spreads, tea, coffee and more. Friendly horses, chickens and guineafowl that you can feed around the place too! Highly recommended to anybody looking for somewhere to relax!

This is an exceptionally good place to stay. It’s the attention to detail and the little extras that make Doomben Ridge such a delightful place to stay and a memorable experience.

We were there for grandparents duty, to look after a 4 month-old whose parents were at a wedding at one of many local venues.

It was a very rainy and unusually cool October weekend, so the fireplace that was lit when we arrived was a very welcome surprise.

Because of the weather, we weren’t able to explore outside, but the surroundings were inviting and I am sure wandering around the property would add an extra dimension to your stay.

The pantry was very well stocked and little extras like eggs from the yard chooks was an impressive touch of hospitality.

I think what impressed me the most was that the hosts had provided the best experience a guest could want.

Had a wonderful stay at Doomben Ridge. Everything was beautifully set up, with a well-stocked pantry and freshly laid eggs from the happy chickens. We enjoyed hot showers, luxurious beds and the indoor and outdoor fireplace/firepit. Within easy driving to lovely cafes and amazing views. Will stay again.

Chrissy & Rob have certainly gone the extra mile to present this lovely hinterland accommodation. Their attention to detail in the furnishings did not go unnoticed. Both house & cottage were decorated with charm & it was a delight to meander over all the delicate trimmings.

My only regret is not making enough time for more relaxation as we were committed to a family wedding.

I highly recommend Doomben Ridge Accommodation to any future Beechmont visitors.

If you are wanting somewhere to relax and unwind then Doomben Ridge is definitely the place to go. The house is immaculately kept, pantry well stocked with supplies, luxury bedding, cosy fireplace and stunning views ❤ The kids love going to “the farm” to see the horses in the paddock and the board games + dart board are a bonus 👏
