Beautiful! Christmas creek runs along the campsite. It was my first experience doing a real camping. And did it in winter, wonderful experience thanks to my uncle had prepared all the camping stuff and aunt preparing the food. Quiet place to camp - sunset and sunrise, herd of cows passing by daily, love hearing the flowing water at the Christmas creek.

A great camp ground, a favourite of ours. Very popular on weekends so we stayed during the week. Nice creek, good in summer for just sitting in. Not deep enough for swimming. Good toilets and tables to eat at. Good for day trips.

Excellent camping ground near Lamington. Christmas Creek runs beside the camping ground, making it a good spot to relax or cool down after a hot summer day. Toilets are available but no showers.

We have been camping at Stinson Park for almost 15 years & always have a fabulous time. This is a quiet park with only 20 sites so is never over crowded. Toilets only & a fresh creek to swim in. Peter the care taker is very helpful & takes great care of the grounds.

This is our first visit to Stinson Park and we are thoroughly enjoying the serene surroundings, beautiful scenery, peaceful campsite beside Christmas Creek, the horses in the field beside us and we are making plans for future visits with friends.

We absolutely love it here!!! The grounds are beautiful with lush green grass, the creek is picture perfect and you are surrounded by rolling hills. The rock pools are fantastic! The toilets are immaculate which is also a bonus. There are no showers but who needs one when you have a fresh running creek?!? 😃 There is a cute little Cafe down the road to grab a coffee or ice-cream on a hot day. Peter is fantastic and does such amazing job taking care of the grounds. He also can provide ice or wood fire for a small fee. This camp-site is a true hidden gem that has it all!

An absolutely beautiful spot. Lovely clean flushing toilets, electric bbqs, picnic tables. Only 20 sites so not overcrowded like many camp grounds. No drinking water. Running stream very refreshing. Only down is that we found at Easter there were lots of little kids running around whose parents weren't supervising, burning plastic on bbq. So if you want peace and quiet, this is not the place in peak school hols.

A great little camping spot for families. Right by the creek, the kids can jump on the rocks and splash in the creek. Only ankle to waist deep, it's a great place to play. Note there is no drinkable water, but flushing toilets and electric BBQs for those without. Rates are reasonable and bring cash. Old mate comes around on his quad bike and collects. He also has fire wood if you need any.

What a great discovery this camp ground is! Formally a cricket oval, the center is now a heli emergency point, but the rest has been wonderfully converted into a modern, clean picnic and camp ground with modern amenity. Contract manager Peter will stop by for a chat on his quad bilke and collect the low fee if you have not already done the "self" payment. I would recommend booking ahead as there are some sort after spots on the edge of the creek which runs year around (80 years with the exception of 2 days by a reliable account). The toilets, bbqs, fire places and picnic tables are in wonderful condition and there is even hand soap!

For the adventurous, the end of the road 5km up has a wonderful hike along Christmas Creek to Jim Westray's grave and up a steep climb the last bits of wreckage from the Stinson and "Point Lookout" which is very much worth it!

Be sure to head into the Cafe next to the camp ground for bite to eat and a coffee and say hi to "Pete" for me :-)
