This a great place to stay if you're planning on going to Springbrook National Park. Bring your own food to cook and prepare (they have almost everything you need). A lot of extras which was really appreciated. Great place to bring your significant other and really spend time together.

Nestled in the rainforest our wood cabin was wonderfully serene. The only noise is birdsong. There are 3 other cabins but you can’t see them. Lots of extras to enjoy including complimentary champagne and port, and some food items.
Well stocked kitchen. Do take dinner as no restaurant is open at night. There is a BBQ.
The cabin is very clean and well maintained.
There are DVD’s at reception. There is no signal except at the property entrance and higher up the road so download in advance.

Absolutely beautiful place, my partner and I had a great experience from start to finish. The owner is very helpful, thoughtful and genuinely cares. The cabin is well secluded and the interior is stunning, as well as the view from every room! We loved the fireplace as it got quite cool, there was plenty of wood and tools. All round a great place and we will definitely be coming back, I would highly recommend this for a couple getaway!

Hubby and I stayed here this weekend just gone, it was a birthday present for my hubby from me. We stayed in the Lyrebird cottage, from the moment we walked in the door we fell in love with the cabin and the surrounds. We enjoyed the fire, spa bath (which was huge) and the bed was so comfy, so were the leather couches. It rained most of the weekend which was fine as we intended on staying in and relaxing which is exactly what we did. The wildlife came to visit us on the Saturday night it was lovely just watching the possums on the decking. Loved the rainforest sounds, it was lovely to hear that instead of traffic. We will be back again in September :) Ash was a lovely host with so much informative information about Springbrook. :)

What a tranquil and memorable weekend. Highly recommend. Graham was lovley on arrival, and thier map of local attractions was clear and easy to follow, our stay was uninterrupted, our cabin "Rosella" was beautiful, clean and privite, except for the cheeky possum family who graced us with their presance , was welcome. And am looking forward to a return visit. Thanks again.

We enjoyed 4 nights as guests at Lyrebird Retreat.
On arrival, Ashley gave us a detailed orientation of the area ( walks, waterfalls, cafes, fudge houses etc)
The cabin, (Bowerbird) was secluded, comfortable and romantic. Everything you could wish for was there, breakfast basket, champagne, spa, full sized fridge, washing machine and dryer, ample hot water and wood heater.
The kindling and fire wood was hard to light, but what do you expect in the middle of a rain forest!
The very best was waking to bird song and the morning light filtering through the forest.
Enjoy it as much as we did.😀

Actually picturesque, unlike some places where the photos seem too good to be true. The photos dont do it justice.
Best holiday to unwind and feel calm just from being in the area, away from busy lives or hassle and bustle of work.
Amazing service with genuinely lovely people at check in and out. amazing location and just the right amount of feeling secluded. Whilst having numerous places in the near area to explore and visit.

Comfy, clean and so very pleasant.
Many beautiful animals and birds right from the balcony.
Loved every second, didnt want to leave.

We stayed for 2 nights in Rosella cabin and it was our first visit. We guessed the age of the cabins to be about 20 years old but very impressed with the quality and comfort. Very little signs of aging. We would definitely stay again and highly recommended. Each cabin is isolated from the others so concerns about privacy. We felt we were completely alone. Take lots of warm clothes if hiking in the cooler months as it can be 10 degrees cooler than Brisbane. Lots of extras supplied in the welcome pack was very nice also and some chocolates on our pillows on arrival.

When we arrived to Lyrebird Retreat our host Ash was waiting for us outside of the office door. He greeted us with a huge welcome and after exchange of few pleasantries we were holding onto the key to the cottage. Ash was very informative about the wildlife in the area and told us to keep a lookout for the Pademelons. Both hubby and I felt so relaxed when we were there and feel this is the place to return to…
We stayed in the Rosella Cottage at the Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat and what a beautiful cottage it is. There is everything you could possibly need and want. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you want should you wish to cook. The spa bath is quite large and the bed is so very comfortable to sleep in. The entire cottage was spotless and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking to get little bit of rest. This cottage is ideal for a honeymoon, as it is completely enveloped by nature, or anniversary as it was in our case 32 years of married life needed a little bit of rest from the everyday. Great place…

Warm chatty greeting when we arrived, we were shown to the Cottage.
We fell in love with it as we walked through the door.
Was very clean and well kept, with everything we needed.
The absolute perfect place to relax. no road noise, no other people.

We brought all our food needs, as we knew there are limited eating option in the area.

Only downside was leaving,
Worth the money.

Stayed April 2016

What a lovely, homely and picturesque place. So tranquil. We made full use of the spa and fireplace and loved our stay.
Huge thanks to Ash, for kindly escorting us around, when our car broke down.

Great destination to chill out located in the rainforest. Very comfortable large cabin with 4 rooms open plan design. I couldn't imagine a more relaxing place to stay. Only downside was leaving and going back to the mayhem that is Brisbane.

The whole time before my stay, Ash was so flexible with me making my deposit payments and the day before I was supposed to stay, I had a horrible personal situation which led to me not being able to stay, he accommodated me in the most hospitable way possible. The most positive experience i’ve had with a resort in my life. Thank you Ash!
