Boorowa Hotel

We were here for dinner on New Year's Eve and New Years Day. The food was as close to home-cooked meals as you could get, was delightful and very well priced. A Karaoke performer provided great entertainment on NYE. The staff are all super friendly and very welcoming. There is an exceptional array of local well priced wines, and thirst quenching beers.
The Beef Guiness Pie, Grilled Salmon and Bangers and Mash were exceptional

After riding all day we stopped in for a drink, staff were very friendly. Mike the owner chatted to us for a while decided to have dinner the food was great. We had the Beef & Guinness Pie with veggies, so good that the veggies were not over cooked.

We had lunch here - a gigantic steak sandwich on Turkish. It was delicious. The steak was so tender and the added salad was fresh and crisp. There is a choice of inside or outside dining. We chose inside because it’s a cold day. The heater was on and the dining room was very cosy and inviting. Lovely young lady served us - she was bubbly and helpful. Recommended

Great feed and great hosts - can personally recommend the beef and Guinness pie it was fantastic.

This hotel is very welcoming from Mike and his wonderful staff all excellent. Stayed the night and had a ball in the main bar . The food is great and plenty to choose from eaten in the lovely dining room.
We will be back for sure . Cheers all.

The atmosphere is a traditional older style pub. It had a variety of food options and a good mix of beers and spirits. I had the Guinness and it was well poured with a rich creamy head. There are lounge chairs to sit in as well as the traditional bar stools. I would love to live in the area so I could be a local. Thanks for a great time.

My go to pub in Boorowa. Best food & staff in town. Mike is a local legend & a true gentleman.

Cozy and warm. You feel at home there. My kids were free to go everywhere in the balcony, yard, hotel, and inn. The place has a cute and friendly dog, and also several old books to read. It's actually a tavern format called hotel in Australia.
Located in a very small town of Boorowa, middle of nowhere, but surprisingly beautiful with few antique shop, and a Teapot collection worth visiting.

Clay, myself and daughter have really enjoyed staying here. Thank you very much to Mike and Young for making us all feel very welcome. Your hospitality is A1 food is amazing in your restaurant, a beautiful Irish pub well kept . The service is amazing staff are very inviting and friendly. We have been staying here for a week and a half till we move into our villa. Rooms are cosy and warm and very clean. Would definitely Recommend to anyone wanting to escape to country the town is beautiful and people amazing and treat you like family. Thankyou soo much again

Very lovely. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome.
Genuine country hospitality for myself and 2 kids.
We arrived late, so food choices were limited. That said, they were more than happy to find us the best options within those choices.
Food was nicely presented, fresh, and tasty.
We were lucky enough to visit on a night when a fantastic guitarist performed.

An Irish pub with a friendly and helpful publican- Mike. We met friends here for dinner. They are Friday night dinner regulars. The Guinness was excellent and so were the meals - I had Guinness and steak pie with vegetables, my husband had Chicken Parmigiana with salad and chips. Our friends had crumbed cutlets, Chicken Schnitzel. All meals were large and delicious. The had an excellent guitarist playing to entertain the diners. This might become a regular thing for us too!
Update - finally got back here for dinner. It was just as good as last time😁

Came to Boorowa for a walk around with my wife and 3 year old and stopped by for some lunch. Very friendly Kiwi chap behind the bar - I assume he's the owner the way he held himself. Very helpful, very inviting and made us feel welcome instantly. The food was fantastic, I had the Tenant BBQ parmi, my wife the salmon fish cakes and my son the kids fish and chips. Food was fantastic, beer was good too. Served relatively quickly considering how busy it was. Would definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

The food was excellent! I had the steak sandwich and I can say with certainty that it was the best steak sandwich I have ever had in my life! The Guinness was absolutely amazing, it made me feel as if I was in the Dublin Guinness Brewery!

The atmosphere was lovely, as the staff were always up for a good chat and a laugh. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in the area!

Best pub in town! Mike the publican is one of the friendliest people that you will ever meet. We stayed for two nights and the accommodation was excellent. We had a number of meals at the pub and the food was very nice. A must to stay for a night or a meal if you’re in Boorowa. Thanks to Mike and all the team!

Evened place to stop for good country pub meal when travelling south West of Sydney. Great food, nice atmosphere in restaurant. Nice friendly staff. Would call on for a meal again and probably will in very near future.

Friendly service, great food and a very comfortable hotel dining experience

I haven’t stayed in the hotel accommodation, but I’ve stopped at the restaurant on the way through Boorowa a few times now. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The bar area is warm and inviting with an open fire. The dining area is comfortable and much nicer than the average hotel dining room. This isn’t a ‘rough’ pub and it is family friendly. The menu offers a good range of tempting meals. The food has been great. I really enjoy stopping here for a bite.

Brilliant pub in a great little town. Host are always friendly and up for a chat. We had the Boorowa beef burger and crumbed cutlets that were amazing. No pre-made meat paddies and generic crumbed cutlets, all made in house and tastes so good!

Me and my wife went in because we saw the beef and guinness pie sign, ended up ordering rump steak and mix grill. It was definitely the best steak and mix grill we have for a while, it was quick, steak was cooked perfectly, we were talking about how good it is even after we reach home. Staff and owner are friendly and very welcoming. Thank you, chef for the amazing lunch!

Mike the publican and his staff, Kayla, Sam, and other staff very hospitable and welcoming. meals, accommodation excellent . probably the only hotel in Australia where dogs can stay in the rooms and outdoor lawn area for your furry friends to play .the resident sheltie,Dambey, is a beautiful dog ,well behaved and trained.he is a true " gentleman"2ill be back again .Di and Molly border collie
