Barnesstore Emporium and Cafe

Really enjoyed the food and the staff were great. The layout was such that you can enjoy your meal with an emphasis placed on space rather than money ( you dont feel crowded by other tables like in Sydney cafes). It's just a place with great food and that wonderful, welcoming country hospitality so many places have lost.

if you're travelling through Harden make sure you stop at Barnesstore Cafe. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended. I stopped for breakfast, had a meeting, and ended up staying for lunch.

Great friendly service! The staff were immediately welcoming and we found that the owners came out and chatted to the local diners. It certainly made me feel warm and cozy. The atmosphere and set up of the cafe was really well designed.

The food was tasty and filling with plenty of options. I am surprised and an awe due to the sheer size of the coffee. Not only was it huge, but it was tasty as well!

There is a little museum attached and owned by the same people. The whole place is currently going through some renovations, I’m looking forward to the end result!

What an adorable little place! Would definitely recommend stopping here if you're on the road. Amazing service, tea served in a cute tea pot. Great staff! Didn't try the food but the menu looked very appetizing!

Had parent facilities when we needed them. And they do great gluten free options. Great drinks and food and great staff as well.

We regularly eat at this lovely local cafe and the food and service is always amazing. I personally love their fresh muffins and their egg, bacon & tomato relish toasted Turkish sandwich. Their vanilla thickshake is another personal favourite. My partner is always super impressed with their very generous big breakfast. Their tomato relish, smoked olive oil and garlic & chilli smoked sea salt is to die for! Wendy & Steve do a fantastic job running this joint.

What a great find on our way back to Sydney. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and we got some fabulous treats to take with us. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Do yourself a favor and have a pie here, they are fantastic! Staff are wonderfully friendly, so pleased we stopped here.

Great place to go and have breakfast lunch or a coffee lots of food choices and variety. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful coffee and a fantastic variety on the menu, highly recommend.

The best pie I have ever had, Beef & mushroom. Real meat, real mushrooms and yummy pastry. Great coffee with a bite of melt in your mouth brownie. Lovely welcoming staff. Recommend stopping in. Thank you 🤩

Such a lovely spot to warm up next to the fireplace and have a hearty brunch on a Sunday.
A must visit spot that's for sure.

We stopped in on a drive home to Canberra for lunch.

Our pies and the salad & wedges were delicious. There was also a good kid's meal and the setup was very kid friendly, with the colouring pencils to draw on the paper table coverings.

Would definitely come again.

Great place - good atmosphere, pretty quiet, since there's a beautiful second room where you can have coffee away from the noisy coffee machines. Also, they have Soy, Almond and Lactose free milk. I was very glad that they have lactose free.
There's actually not anything I can think of that they should improve on.

I can't drive past this shop food coffee is the best Steve and Wendy are great people with a professional attitude to be in this industry.the product's they have in this shop are unbelievable full credit to them aaaa+++++ keep up the great work

FANTASTIC !!! Delicious coffee and the home made Lemon Cake was to die for. Service was fast and excellent. Owners are friendly and keep the place with a homey atmosphere. I will visit them often.

What a friendly and welcoming place to find open late on a Winter's afternoon. With friendly country hospitality, an open fire, and amazing cakes and coffee worth detouring for, we'll definitely be back.

Great coffee, excellent homemade food and a lovely place to eat. Nice surprise walking inside. The dining area opens up to the right with high ceilings

My new favourite stop over place for amazing wholesome pies with salad and divine home-made relish, lovely rustic seating area inside next to the fire place, this is just a really delightful place.

Highly recommend trying the pies!!!
