Laidley Creek Falls Remote Bush Camp

If you want to feel like hobbits leaving the Aussie shire then give this a crack. Completed an overnighter here with kids aged 10 - 14 and was pretty easy. Followed trail on Alltrails. Great view approx 50m east of camp site.

This is a great hike for those wanting the remote bush campo experience and everything that comes along with it but is a shorter distance. From the Sylvesters lookout it is only 2.5km to the campsite. Track is heavily overgrown for the last 1km (posted April 23) and requires bush bashing so wear appropriate clothes for this. Camp site is big enough for 3 tents and there is an epic lookout about 50m from the site. The campsite itself is protected from the weather although it was a little breezy at times. I took my 13 year old daughter who had no trouble with the hike. The Alltrails activity for this hike is spot on so grab that and you'll have no issues. There is Optus mobile coverage at the campsite although it was intermitant.
