Araucaria Falls walking track (start)

It took us just over an hour to complete the walking track to the stunning waterfall and back. Although challenging, walking back up the steep hill was also enjoyable. We discovered many large tadpoles.

From the parking area, the track has a slight descent for a distance, leading into a moderate to steep drop to the top of the Falls. Continue along the track, down many steps to the base of the waterfall. A beautiful place

A beautiful short and quiet hike to a secluded falls located within a classic example of dense south east Qld rainforest.
Well worth the journey to check it out.

Beautiful walk through the rainforest. A bit dry at the moment needs some rain to be able to swim. Pretty steep on the way back.

Not too far from the car park to the top of the Falls. We stop at the top. The track looked like it goes further on.

It is a long walk 1.8 meters to arrive the fall.
The way is super extreme. I went after the rain so It was so muddy and slippery. You have to be fit because the way is steep and decline in a long way. Your destination is nice and beautiful. It is worth it to go there. Recommend to not go after rain. It is quite dangerous.

Much longer than signed, no falls.
