Family friendly hike. Toilets are car parking on site. Slow uphill walk to the top. Gorgeous views! Well worth it. Took about 1.5 hours up and a little less down. Bit slower with all the photo taking. Saw a carpet python on the way up who was also soaking in the sun.

This is a great beginners hike, you get great views within minutes of walking, lush rainforest one minute, mountainside views the next. Convenient carpark with toilets too.

This place is magical. Loved the rainforest , bugs, creepy crawlies and bird life . A majority of the trails start from this car park . I did the Rainforest Circuit and the Palm Grove Circuit . I suppose Palm Grove is not frequented as much and the trail needed a little trimming. Lots of hoops and logs to jump over. Rainforest Circuit is better maintained .

Spotted goannas, wallabies and a variety of birds.

This national park is one of the most accessible parks I've been to due to this convenient carpark. You are pulling over to a spacious car park adjacent to the highway with many tracks such as Mount Mitchell, Mount Cordeaux, Bare Rock, Sylvester Lookout staring from this point.
There are toilets situated on one corner and during the weekend with good weather this carpark normally fills up by 9 max. So you probably need to be early if you don't want to park on the side of the highway.

Lovey spot to stop, and go into the bush for a walk. You can choose an all day adventure or just a quick strech of the legs on a smal but sceinice circuit.

Love to review a car park...Get in early! Not too many spots on a very main road, if you’re planning to do some walks around here, I’d say get there early if you’d like to make it easier for yourself. I was comfortable leaving my car here for an overnight hike close by.

Start for hiking tours with stunning views, e.g. Mt Mitchell. To be an early bird is essential or no space for your car left. The toilets are ugly and barly maintained

Great walks here for a day trip! Can get busy and limited parks but well worth the trip!

You can park an RV opposite. Lovely Smelling rain forest. Cool on a hot day.

Toilet here. Starting point for hikes up Mt Cordeaux and Mt Mitchell on opposite sides of road.

Plenty of car parks but get there early as it fills up quickly

Great hike. Be careful of the sheer edges at the top though. Great views
