Beach Safari Currarong

We just had the most delicious lunch here today. Delicious Fish and chips, a big juicy beef burger but the star of the meal was the Greek lamb special - succulent lamb with flatbread, fresh Greek salad and the most delicious oregano and lemon potatoes. I’m still thinking about the roasted lemon skins. So delicious! Very generous serves and all very tasty. We weren’t the only satisfied customers as we could hear the two tables around us also exclaiming how delicious their lunch was. We finished off with a takeaway caramel slice and amaretto biscuit. Both absolutely delicious with generous salt flakes on top of the caramel. Looking forward to going back and enjoying this beautiful part of the world. The photo DOES NOT do it justice

Delicious fish burger and fish and chips (with a very generous serving of chips). Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Lovely friendly staff in a beautiful beachside location. Highly recommend.

My friends and I did the Currarong Art Trail and then we stopped to have lunch. Beach Safari looked a popular place so we stood in line. I just ordered the flathead and then the 3 of us went down to eat overlooking the water. I must say, it was the most delicious fish I have ever tasted. The shop was busy and when renovations are complete this fish and chip shop will be fabulous. I will be back.

During my three-day trip in Currarong, I was addicted to going to this place for lunch and coffee. It’s quite surprising that they have the best the fish and chips!

Brazilian bbq rolls 😋 beef and chirzo so good. Great service. I hope the hold more of these would love to try the chicken. Also they source local produce, well done 👏

Great local place, fish and chips are delicious and a great price they also have good coffee. Service has been really good and staff friendly each and every time I have visited. Would highly recommend a visit and enjoying a coffee or a meal on the deck area is rather special with a lovely outlook

The best fish burger I have ever had! Opted for barbecued fish rather than fried. Delicious from my first bite to the last (in fact, I didn't want it to end).

Delicious food and friendly service with gorgeous views of Crookhaven Bight. Special multicultural menus on weekends and pubic holidays taking Beach Safari's quality well above your usual coastal takeaway shop. For example, today, I had the best pulled pork roll ever. Highly recommended.

Braved the summer crowds to try Maeve’s new restaurant after coming to Zac’s for many years and was impressed by the speedy service despite the line being right out the door. Had the Safari Feast with fresh fried blackfish, fresh oysters, prawns, calamari, chips, salad and house tartare. Everything was crisp, tasty and super fresh. Tartare is to die for! Elevated restaurant-quality food made with love. Highly recommended.

Sitting here now enjoying flathead and chips with a side of calamari. All absolutely delicious. Also had a Brazilian empanada while waiting for our order. Highly recommend you do the same. Will definitely be returning.

My wife and I drove from Sydney specifically to visit Maeve's Beach Safari. We had a great day and the food was excellent. We met Maeve and she was kind enough to come and sit at our table and meet my wife as she is a long time fan of Maeve's TV series Food Safari. We highly recommend Beach Safari Currarong, you won't be disappointed.Thank you Maeve for being a kind host.
