Gaia retreat is the most wonderful gift you could possibly give to yourself. The rooms are beautiful with so much attention to detail. You are completely looked after and nurtured from the outstanding organic 5 star meals, to staff who are kind, warm, friendly, compassionate and caring. The grounds in which the retreat is on are beautiful and well maintained. You feel as though you can breathe again. Special mention to Ellmay - you are a star, and also all the other therapists who are experts in their field and wonderful people.

Gaia is a totally authentic, restorative and beautiful retreat in every way. The lush surroundings, incredible food and wonderful day spa (fabulous natropath, yoga teacher, astrologist and spa practitioners) are all exceptional. The most wonderful aspect however, is the Gaia team, of genuine, kind, knowledgeable and professional people. They made my whole experience so special, that I booked in again before I left.

my mum & i came to Gaia to spend some quality time together & to leave feeling at least 1% better following a recent family tragedy. i expected the stay to bring us relaxation & enjoyment, but it was much deeper than that. Gaia & its beautiful energy allowed us to feel safe & we were able to open up & let the beautiful staff take care of us. every part of our stay was a stand-out, from the food to the spa treatments to the daily activities. the food was fresh & wholesome, but also bloody delicious. i loved the fact that everything was enjoyed in moderation — it wasn’t the kind of health retreat where you’re banished of your phone, chocolate & coffee! the love & careful attention was evident in each bite of food — thank you, chefs!

as for the spa, there were so many little details that did not go unnoticed. tea & fruit platters were available on request before & after every treatment. the staff were professional, warm & accommodating. sage was burnt during massages & we were gently brought back to the room with singing bowls once the treatment was finished. my favourite treatment was the acupuncture & cupping. my mums favourite treatment was the “Sole to Soul”.

my mum & i connected with a yoga teacher, Claire, who was funny & so knowledgeable & passionate about yoga. we did 2 private classes with her, where she shared her experience & knowledge about switching on the correct muscles in everyday life, as well as on the mat. she placed emphasis on posture & keeping a healthy spine. she even gave us notes & book recommendations. thank you for taking care of us, and for helping my mum, Claire.

we also did a private cacao ceremony with Mishi, who was like the human form of sunshine. the ceremony was beautiful & healing for me in particular. i was sobbing by the end of it, and Mishi gave me one of the best hugs i’ve ever received.

the “Breath of Bliss” group class was another stand out. we were guided to breathe deeply & rhythmically, while letting our bodies do whatever they needed to. it was an extremely powerful & vulnerable experience that allowed my mum & i to feel very close to one another, and also to a woman that we met in the class.

i was lucky enough to experience the “Forage & Graze” package, which included private gardening & cooking classes. Cam was super passionate & knowledgeable about organic gardening. It made me appreciate the hard work & love that goes into Gaia’s gardens & kitchen.

the general / front of house staff were all so lovely & accommodating. they allowed us to squeeze every drop out of our experience. they even let a dear friend from the Gold Coast come & spend the day with us.

every inch of Gaia is beautiful & peaceful. in fact, it got more beautiful every day we were there. there aren’t enough words to express how grateful we both feel to have shared this experience.

thank you, thank you, thank you. we will definitely be back with all of our loved ones!

I had a wonderful two night stay at Gaia after travelling from Melbourne. I had high expectations, but my stay exceeded my expectations. The staff are wonderful, the environment is stunning (don’t worry if it’s raining - it makes it even more beautiful) and the food was consistently incredible (who knew that a carrot desert could be a thing?!). My spa treatments have given me such relief from a lingering frozen shoulder, and there was a yoga teacher who was the real deal. Thank you for an incredible stay. Yes, it is absolutely worth the money.

My experience at Gaia was exceptional. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with the most beautiful Mediterranean lunch situated within the stays greenery and overlooking the picturesque hinterland. I felt completely at ease and relaxed with no shortage of activities and spa treatments available. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I left feeling so rejuvenated and relaxed I cannot wait to return back to Gaia to share this experience with my loved ones. Thank you Greg Crave for your hospitality along with your team. I always adore visiting Gaia, as I feel relaxed from the moment I arrive. The food is so delicious that I look forward to every meal. The Spa treatments are fabulous and the staff are very professional. Gregg does a marvelous job of making you feel very welcome and genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay as much as possible. I highly recommend Gaia.

"Wellness retreat" full of single females! Great environment, healthy and delicious food, and excellent, friendly service. Very expensive - $4200 for 2 for two nights!

I enjoyed a 2night spa package at Gaia Retreat. The entire experience was outstanding.
The food was amazing - it so fresh & often picked straight from the premises. The quality was 5 star & there was always so much food.
The staff were incredible. From the restaurant team, to Danielle the yoga teacher, to the Day Spa team. Everyone has a special calmness & kindness about them, always ready to help or talk if needed.
I’d highly recommend a visit if your looking for a space to unwind, relax & rejuvenate.

Gaia is such a magical place, with superb staff that look after your every need - it is the perfect place to get away from the hectic world and reconnect with your true self. The food is sensational - really top quality produce - there wasn't a single meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy! The spa area is delightful for whiling away the hours between activities - all the treatments I had were magnificent. I cannot fault this place, there wasn't a single moment I didn't love. I would recommend Gaia for anyone wanting time to spoil themselves. I know I will be back as soon as I can!

Gaia has exceeded my expectations. I came into the retreat wanting pure relaxation and to reset my mind and body, I’ve left with exactly that.

From the moment I arrived, the staff here have been nothing but friendly and you can tell have enjoyment they do. The grounds are beautifully kept, the accommodation was lovely and the food fantastic.

You really can do as much or as little as you like here. You can understand why GAIA keeps winning awards each year.

It is like being given a big warm beautiful hug from the moment you are picked up at the airport to the time you are dropped off again. It is a place of nurturing and healing where you can just focus on you. Staff 10 out of 10, although I don't like that word - staff - they were like our friends and how they remembered our names every day was a revelation to me, rooms 10 out of 10, treatments 10 out of 10, activities 10 out of 10. The environment and surrounds 10 out of 10. The food, well if I could be so bold as to say 20 out of 10. Out of this world, chef Dan is a rock-star genius. Roland made noises of bliss every time he tried a meal and with all the meals we had, there was not one that didn't get this response. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place and we can't wait till we get back!

I love Gaia because I always receive outstanding service, from the welcome, to the amazing Spa treatments, the fabulous accommodation and the chefs gastronomic delights.

I don't usually write reviews but the experience at Gaia was too good not to share. From the point of being picked up from the airport to being dropped back off at the airport, the experience was amazing! Everyone we met was super friendly, attentive, caring, and welcoming and gave off a nice relaxing vibe. The inclusive meals were also incredibly delicious whilst being nutritious at the same time. We enjoyed the idea that every meal was different each day which gave an element of surprise. I also booked in the shirodhara treatment, dreamtime travel, deep tissue and facial treatment at the day spa throughout the stay. Every single treatment was so special and definitely helped me achieve the calm and peace I was hoping for whilst getting nurtured by each of the therapists. Special shout out to Simone who gave the best deep tissue massage I have ever experienced. I also liked that Simone and Nicolette were very attentive of the injuries I got from falling off a bike prior to their treatments. They made the treatments still feel whole and perfect whilst avoiding the injuries. The facilities were also so luxurious and we had so much fun using them. The views from the retreat are incredible and makes you feel like you're not in NSW anymore. This short getaway was exactly what I needed to feel restored in both my mind and body. Truly a 5 star experience if not better! I'll definitely be coming back!

I left Gaia after a 10 day stay well equipped to take on the world of healthy delicious food, an exercise plan to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground and strength from practising yoga everyday. It's wonderful to feel better than my old self again.

Thank you to ALL the staffs at Gaia retreat!! Everyone has made us feel so welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. My boyfriend and I had a great time filling our days with amazing spa treatments, swimming in the pool, doing yoga and using the sauna every evening. The gourmet organic meals were delicious and healthy, it made a big difference and we felt much more refreshed! This was a rare and much needed peaceful break we were looking forward to and staying here exceeded our expectations!
