Bangalow Guesthouse

We had a lovely 4 day stay in one of the cottages, the wifi was good and the rooms were clean and very cozy. Location is in walking distance of all the restaurants and bars at the quiet end of town.

We had an absolutely divine stay, this is a beautiful historic house with so many details to admire and enjoy. It's meticulously well kept and every room we saw was well appointed and true to its heritage period. The scenic grounds were really calming and I loved the local wildlife. The kitchen setup and coffee machine was marvellous.
It's ideally, centrally located. Local dining, shopping and markets are all worth visiting. Check in and communication by hosts was seamless. My only tiny qualm was the early morning traffic rumbling noise as the highway is very close, but overall that was minor. I hope to return soon and try another room, but I can highly recommend the loveliness of the Dr Bracken room in the main house. Incredibly comfortable bed! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

This was the perfect place to base ourselves whilst we explored the Byron hinterland. So close to so many attractions. Our room was the Dr Bracken Suite and it was beautiful, it overlooked the gardens and the creek that flows through the property. The gardens where perfect. We will definitely be back.

Great guest house to stay in for the Bangalow area . We had 4 nights here while in town for my daughter’s wedding. Very comfortable rooms as part of a beautiful old queenslander homestead. You have access to the kitchen, lounge and Verandah in the old homestead. Lovely sitting out on the verandah overlooking the creek. The kitchen in the main house is well stocked with utensils, glasses, plates, coffee and tea facilities. Fresh towels delivered every day and although no reception as such and therefore apart from the cleaners, there is no other staff around, it is lovely and quiet ,apart from a bit of noise from the main road . Please note , virtually no phone reception in the whole of Bangalow ( we are with Telstra) , but good WiFi at the guesthouse.

Absolutely beautiful stay at Bangalow Guesthouse. It felt true Australian , in this gorgeous bygone era of a setting. Our room was beautifully furnished, clean and wonderful comfortable bed.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Miller apartment at the Bangalow Guest House which is very conveniently located close to all the shops and restaurants in Bangalow. The apartment is spacious and well fitted out. The king size bed is comfortable. We liked having a full size fridge and cooking facilities. We parked our car underneath the apartment and found the lock code straightforward to use. We would recommend this apartment and the other cottages looked nice. We would also recommend the Bangalow bakery and the Mexican restaurant

Great couples escape in small town. Adorable heritage style cottage in unique picturesque location. Exceptional restaurants and terrific cafes within walking distance.

The accommodation is beautiful and perfectly located to experience so many lovely attractions. Our room was immaculate and the guesthouse was so tranquil. Although there were other guests staying it felt like we had the entire house to ourselves. Having the entire house to enjoy was an absolute bonus, with tea and coffee provided. Sitting on the verandah after a long bike ride was delightful. This is one of the most enjoyable weekends I have ever had! Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful historic home with some wonderful history, perfect stay for a group of friends or family. Great location to the cafes and shops.

We thoroughly enjoy our times at The Bangalow Guesthouse having stayed many times now. It’s set in the beautiful environment along the river in Bangalow, it’s super comfortable and the staff are always helpful and welcoming.

Hope to come back 👍🏼one day to stay longer Bangalow is great with fab shops and restaurants and your place is absolutely beautiful it was convenient just far enough off the highway with easy access, wonderful kitchen, beautiful bed and bathroom and spotlessly clean. It was a great stop over for me travelling alone this time ⭐

It’s so disappointing that it has taken me so long to find this accomodation. Every now and then you come across a gem and this surely has to be one. Wish I could have stayed longer but I will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bangalow Guesthouse. We stayed in one of the small cottages which were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Guests have access to the main house which was lovely. We were able to cook dinner and access the common areas. The rooms were cleaned daily and we enjoyed interacting with the other guests who were staying. We will definitely stay again :)

Great service by the staff, originally booked a room that had non operative air con of which I was not informed of, however when speaking to staff about the issue they were very apologetic. The cleaner organised the best room in the place and upgraded me to it free of charge. Very happy with my experience. Otherwise, rooms are very modern, well looked after and clean.
