Manly Library

A free service provided by the council which is awesome. The staff is very nice. Many services are offered. The app is very useful and makes your life easier to renew, pre book or find a book. You can find books but also magazines, audio book, CD and DVD.
New books are quite sparse and not many best sellers.

Central location in a pedestrian plaza in the heart of Manly makes this a standout jewel in the Northern Beaches string of libraries. Featured 3 floors with bookable meeting and event areas and a large well managed collection. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Great community library. Offers monthly activity for local elders, such as knitting session.

A peaceful unhurried space to catchup on the admin of daily life, regain calm and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Me and my friends did the medieval murder mystery and Vampire the Masquerade and absolutely loved it. It staff were really kinda and nice and helped us with anything we needed . An amazing place and I definitely recommend it

My family loves visiting the library, great location, atmosphere, and selection of books and other media. The app is a great addition to the library experience allowing you to easy make reservations and borrow without your card!

I have relied on Manly library for a number of things recently, from printing key documents and scanning them, Rhyme Time with my toddler, great selection of books (including digital) & DVD's. I know they have a whole raft of services, I have only used a few. The team here are so helpful and supportive for anything you need. The library is also setup really will with safe distancing and hand sanitiser everywhere.

All time favourite spot for Manly residents for a quiet spot for reading. Right smack in the middle of The Corso area.

Great place to get out of the house to do my work. Shame about the local nutcase with small-man complex who likes to shout obscenities at the female staff at the top of his lungs. Tough, tough little guy. Service here is great and the staff are so helpful and friendly.

On holiday from England, we needed to print some e-documents. Of course, many libraries around the world offer this facility, but few offer the friendly and helpful attention that we experienced. Thanks to librarian Maria, and thanks Manly library for a great service. Alex Massey. UK.

Manly Library like any government library is free to join and has very cheap availability of a number of services.

Internet
Printing
Faxing
Borrowing books.

They have an area that allows anyone to walk in and sit to read, some desks have computers and others are empty.

A few have power points for laptops and other devices.

With a number of cafe's in a short walking distance and a few "WIFI" options that you can reach from the desks its a fantastic place to work form or get some quiet space to work on something without distraction.

There is a council carpark nextdoor.

Friendly, helpful staff, calming and pleasant atmosphere. Nicely decorated, with a large and broad stock of books, audio, magazines, etc. One of the best libraries of it's type I've used.

Manly Library has good selection of books, magazines and DVDs. They have a regular JP (Justice of the Peace) service and access to computers, wifi, printing & copying services.

The library also offers Kids Programs for different age groups and digital workshops for people learning to use digital tech and the internet.

Public toilets. Lots of books and centrally located.

Open seven days. In COVID -19.

So great that library provides home delivery in times of this epidemic crisis for us book lovers. My gratitude to fantastic staff and service.

They hav almost err thing. Would be better if they keep latest and famous movies as well instead of old and unheard ones. Great place nevertheless

Great location. Sufficient space for self-study. Ideal to take a rest after visiting the beach.
